I float in a boat
Everyone from the circus was scared, anyone that was actually a human, anyways. Police sirens sounded from the old place as they floated away on the water. The rough water. The dead or converted stayed back, many officers looking for a certain ringmaster.
In a raging black ocean
The boat was, more than so, overfilled. They only had one, and there were so many members smushed together. Walkie, Dinero, Lucy, Yesman, Hocus, and Cutlass were only a few to name. Their weight wasn't doing so well against the raft.
Low in the water
The ringmaster was worried, shaking as he kept running his hands through his spikey hair. He didn't know where the boat was headed, he didn't know where they should land. They were criminals, they were going to look for them, especially him.
With nowhere to go
Cutlass was, no doubt, scared. She stood next to the mage while Lucy curled up to her. Everyone was scared, none of them wanted to go to jail, or even die, because of their ringmaster's actions. The sword swallower felt so uncomfortable as well, being pushed against everyone near her, some even strangers to her.
The tiniest lifeboat
The small woman felt like crying if she had to be honest. She felt like this was going to be the last of all them, like they were going to sink. She glanced at all of her friends that she knew, looking at how they all seemed terrified. Dinero had Walkie close to him as possible, worried of losing them somehow. Hocus was fidgeting with his fingers, sometimes even with the fabric of his cloak. He had Yesman under his arm, seeing that the ringmaster had been freezing.
With people I know
Cold, clammy, and crowded
Yesman, the white haired male with the swirly-eyed glasses, finally pulled himself up and away from his ex-best friend, pressing his lips into a thin line. Anyone who paid special attention would notice that his lip quivered, as if he were ready to say something he was going to regret.
The people smell desperate
He huffed, trying to stand still as the waves pushed against the raft. "We'll sink any minute, so someone must go." He softly ordered, surprisingly gaining everyone's attention.
No one wanted to go, no one wanted to drown in the cold water. No one wanted to die that night.
The tiniest lifeboat
Everyone seemed to be more tense as Yesman took a look at everyone. Some stole a few jealous glances at the pyromanic, knowing far too well that their ringmaster wasn't going to push him off. Lucy only whimpered to herself, curling more around the swordswoman more in fear.
With the people I know
They soon started to panic, pushing against each other as they started to argue on who had to leave. Hocus tried to keep to himself the best he could, sharing a look with Cutlass as they watched chaos unfold. Yesman sighed to himself, trying to make an important decision. He cared for everyone, but he couldn't let everyone die.
Everyone's pushing
Everyone's fighting
Everyone went silent once water started to slowly fill the boat, when the thunder striked against the clouds. Rain was going to fall soon, and that was the last thing they needed.
Storms are approaching
Cutlass whimpered to herself, more than terrified. The male next to her must have noticed because the mage put a hand on her shoulder in a way to comfort her the only way he could at the moment.
The police sirens only rang louder in everyone's heads as the water started to seep in faster, causing them to slowly sink.
There's nowhere to hide
The swordswoman felt herself swallow a lump down her throat, making it difficult for her to breathe. She wanted to say something, almost anything, just to make herself calm down. All that ran through her thoughts was that they were all going to die if the ringmaster didn't make a decision quick.
Cutlass was selfish, and she knew it, and she didn't want to leave that boat.
'If I say the wrong thing or I wear the wrong outfit, they'll throw me right over the side.' She thought to herself, glad that Hocus still had his hand on her shoulder, noticing the warmth coming from it.
But quickly, the woman fell to her knees once she noticed someone was about to throw a punch over at the pyromanic. She covered her face, her dress getting noticeably wet as she curled up to the lion, gently clutching on to her fur as she started to cry. Cry out of fear and terror.
I'm hugging my knees
Yesman frowned, immediately breaking up whatever fight could have started. He gently pushed Trickster away from Hocus, noting how the swordswoman of his circus was shaking and crying. He glanced to the side before making his decision.
Cutlass looked up, and the captain is pointing.
Well who made her captain?
The ringmaster pulled up the sword swallower, giving her a glance of sympathy. He saw how Hocus twitched his lips, as if he wanted to say something against this, but decided not to. It was not best to argue at the moment.
Still, the weakest must go
Cutlass whimpered more, tears now flowing down her cheeks as she felt someone else grab her arm harshly. She gave one last look to everyone she knew, Dinero and Walkie having a look of mixed shock and worry. The smaller robot gave a sad wave, Trickster looked away, and Lucy whined against this decision, almost bumping Yesman's leg.
The tiniest lifeboat
She closed her eyes as she felt the freezingly ice cold water hit her back before gulping down her entire body.
Full of people I know
