THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS MATURE THEMED STUFF.

"Everything has a meaning towards a purpose."

BACK TO MEL'S POV

I woke up in Justin's arms. He had me in a tight embrace. I kissed his chest, and smiled at his peaceful face.
"Goodmorning love." he whispered with closed eyes. "slept well?"
"Yeah, and you?" he tightened his embrace around me, and opened his eyes. He gently grabbed my chin and kissed my lips.
"I was with you, so it was perfect."
"FINALLY YOU'RE AWAKE BOTH OF YOU!" me Dhalya stormed in. "I want to know, what up with you too." she grabbed me, and hugged me tightly.
"still hurts!" I giggled. "I know it might be a little early, but Justin asked me to be his girlfriend last night."
"WHAAAAAT!" she looked like, she was about to faint. "but you really don't know each other." I raised an eyebrow at her.
"D, he saved me last year, and I've been living with him for a short while now."
"He disappeared after your attack!"
"I KNOW! BUT I TRUST HIM, AND I'M FALLING DEEPLY FOR HIM!" it was so unlikely her, to be like that.
"MOM AND DAD WOULDN'T APPROVE!"
"THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY FOR ME!"
"YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN TOO SOFT!"
"YOU JUST CAN'T BE HAPPY FOR ME, CAN YOU! JUST LEAVE!"
"MEL, DON'T DO THIS!"
"I SAID, LEAVE!" my throat was sore, but so was my feelings, from her disappointing words. She brought mom and dad into it. After she left, I broke down. I cried, and Justin had his arms around me, kissed my forehead, and stroking my hair.
"She'll come around, I think she was just surprised."
"Don't defend her, she brought our parents into it."
"I know love, but I wasn't defending her, I was trying to make sense of what just happened."
As we laid there, a doctor came in.
"So Melinda, let's take a look at the wound and change the bandage, shall we?" I nodded, and Justin went over to a nearby chair. "For what's it worth, I think love doesn't depends on, how long a couple have known each other. It depends on feelings and trust."
"You heard my sister and I?"
"Yeah, I was right outside, when you two were yelling." the doctor chuckled.
"I'm really sorry about that."
"it's alright Mel, I just want you to be okay, so it's a good thing, that your boyfriend is here."
"he was the one who saved me last year." I smiled towards Justin, who smiled back at me. "he makes me feel safe."
"he's a good man indeed." and that's when I saw the resemblance between Justin and the male doctor. "he's my cousin, so I know, that he wouldn't hurt you. He has talked nonstop about you, since last year."
"Dude, you're embarrassing me." Justin blushed. It was cute.
"Everything for you cousin." he winked at Justin. "Call me Jax."
"Okay." I gently smiled, as Jax gently took off the bandage, to look at the wound.
"The wound looks good, I'll just clean it up. How are you feeling?"
"I feel okay, I just want to leave the hospital, it gives me the creeps." he cleaned the wound, and put a new bandage on.
"well, if you both want to, you could crash my house, it's secure with a massive gate, and there is a lot of space to be filled."
"I don't know cousin, let me talk with her about it." Jax quickly left the room. "do you want to?"
"I'll be okay with it, you'll be close to the clinic, and there's a gate, so I'll be fine with it."
"what if you begin to like him?"
"I won't like him the same way, as I like you. I love you Justin, and we can't be in the cabin, you know that."
"I know, I guess, that I'm just scared."
"don't be, now go fetch Jax." I stroke his cheek. He nodded, and left the room. I could feel his jealousy, and somehow it annoyed me. Shortly after, both Jax and Justin entered the room.
"Since you'll move into my house, you could leave the hospital today, actually you could leave in 30 minutes, when my shift'over."
"Yeah Yeah, but I kind of need to get to the clinic, I have some paperwork to finish." Justin's jealousy were a bit overwhelming.
"Seriously?" I raised an eyebrow. "you can't wait until tomorrow?"
"No it can't wait, that a problem?" he sounded like, he was about to explode.
"No I guess not." I looked away from him.
"I'll make it up to you, I promise." he kissed my cheeks, and left.
"Sorry about my cousin, he can get a little jealous."
"understatement of the year." we both chuckled.
"let me find the papers, so you can sign, and then I'll quickly finish up and get changed." I nodded. He left the room, and shortly after, he returned with the papers. I signed them, so he could finish the paperwork. I tried to get out of bed, but the pain was too much. So I just laid there, until he returned.
"haven't changed?" he looked surprised.
"I can't really get out of bed, without it hurting."
"oh sorry, let me help you." he gently supported me, and helped me sit up. He gently helped me get into my denim shorts. As he helped me stand up, to get my hospital shirt of, he both realized, I wasn't wearing a bra. I blushed more than a tomato.
"I'm so sorry." he tried to look away. "let me find you your t-shirt, and bra." he quickly went to where my stuff were, and returned to help me get my bra on, and then my t-shirt.
"we should get going." he ran his hands through his hair.
"yeah." I felt so shy.
He helped me stand up, but quickly decided to carry me to his car. He was holding me gently, as I rested my head on his shoulder.
When we got to his car, he gently put me down, so he could open the car door for me. We both got in the car. There was an awkward atmosphere. I was afraid to speak. "We probably shouldn't tell Justin about the incident, he gets territorial, when it comes to women."
"you're probably right."
"but hey, the sight was pretty amazing." I blushed as he chuckled. "If he ever lets go of you, I'll take my chances."
"whats make you think you've got a chance?" I raised and eyebrow while smiling. "If Justin and I ever breaks up, I might go for a woman."
"tempting, I would like to see that."
As we er driving, we were talking and laughing. But still, I was thinking about, what Justin were doing at the clinic.
"Hey, he'll come home, trust me."
"I never thought, that he could act like that. He has been so calm and gentle around me."
"Sometimes people surprises you." he smiled at me. "I hope, that he gets his act together, he shouldn't behave like that around you, or anyone." he stroke my chin.
"that you're right about, I just hope, that he won't do it again."
"let's hope not, otherwise he'll deal with me." I smiled gently towards Jax. The car ride was calm and short, and soon we arrived at a massive house. It was in the outskirts of the city, protected with a huge golden gate.
He parked the car, and quickly went over to help me out of the car, and picked me up.
"what do you think?" he chuckled.
"it's beautiful." he unlocked the front door, and we entered a hallway, with ash grey tiles, and ivory white walls. Asian themed pictures we hanging on the walls. I was amazed by the beauty of the room. Jax chuckled, as he could see my eyes, how they were amazed.
"You like the hallway?"
"I love the Asian theme." he walked slowly towards a french door, that led to the living room, which was also Asian themed. He gently put me down on his couch.
"hungry?" his voice sounded so sincere. "hospital food is crap."
"starving." we both chuckled.
"good, because I'm ordering chinese food."
I clapped my hands, I could see him smile.
He grabbed his laptop, and went online to order. While I waited, I checked my phone, but no messages or missed calls. A tear ran down my cheek.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he looked worried at me.
"Justin hasn't texted me, or called me."
"I'm calling him."
He grabbed his phone and dialed Justin's number. He gave me sign, to let me know, that it went straight to voicemail.
"yo cousin, it ain't okay not texting your girlfriend, to let her know when you'll be home." he hung up, and put his phone on the table.
"straight to voicemail?" I whispered sadly.
"Yeah, now he's officially a douchebag."
"well, we could just talk and eat, when our food arrives." I nervously smiled.
"Yeah, that'd be great." he chuckled. "you are something cool, you know."
"how come?"
"you ain't afraid of eating, most women won't eat a lot in front of men."
"well, I'm not like most." I laughed a little.
"Trust me, I had a feeling." as we waited, we mocked each other. We continued laughing. After about 30 minutes, the food had arrived, but still no word from Justin.
"Ready to eat?" he mocked me, again.
"hell yeah." I both dived in, and man, I've missed chinese food. "oh my God, this is amazing!"
"agreed." food was almost falling out of his mouth. "Wanna join me in the garden after? I've got an outdoor fireplace, so we wouldn't be able to freeze."
"Dude, it's summer."
"still, it's getting darker."
"well okay then. Could we have marshmallows?" my eyes almost begged him.
"sure thing." he laughed. "and we could talk."
"Yeah, that'd be nice. Oh, and can I quickly use your laptop? I kinda need to check my email, to see if my psychiatrist has answered."
"Yeah sure." he gently nudged my shoulder, and smiled nervously.
"Thank you Jax."
"anytime."
After a short while, both of us had finished eating, and I grabbed his laptop, and logged into my email. My psychiatrist had answered.
