Chapter Five

~~~Link's PoV~~~
I looked away, my cheeks a blushing mess. I slowly pulled the blanket over me again, remaining silent. Dark sighed and tugged on the sheets again. "Link, come on." He said impatiently.

I scrunched under the blankets more. "Yes.." I mumbled so quietly I could barely hear it myself.

"What was that?" Dark asked, pulling down the blankets and pinning them to the matress with his palm.

An urge suddenly took over my body. I placed my hand gently on the side of Dark's face, pulling him into a soft kiss. Strange thing was, Dark didn't pull back, push me away, or resist in any way at all. In fact, Dark seemed to melt into the kiss. Was he actually...enjoying it?...

My beliefs were confirmed when Dark wrapped his arms around my neck. His reaction completely blindsided me. We kept the kiss going for roughly thirty seconds. Dark pulled back, the corners of his mouth making a slight smirk.

The way that kiss went still rendered me speechless. "Yo- wha? I-..uh!??" I said although it sounded like gibberish. "Bu- aren- yo-....???????" At this point, I didn't even know what I was trying to say.

"Well no homo." Dark said with a pause. "Buuut maybe a little homo. Like 25%." He paused once again. "Eh, maybe like 50% homo, maybe like 75." He smirked softly.

"Shut up," I finally managed to say, "We both know you're 100% homo."

Dark chuckled a little. "Yeah, 100% homo for you and I'm just gonna assume you are to." I rolled my eyes at him.

With Dark knowing of my bisexuality, I felt much more comfortable around him. Ever since I accepted being bi, I've always been worried about slipping up and telling Dark something that sounded really gay. I was no stranger to Dark calling me gay, but every time he did it was in a joking manor. I didn't want him to  legitimately think I wasn't straight until I was ready.

"Yeah yeah, okay, I'm gay for you. Is that really a big deal?" I asked, my face darkening red.

"Hell yeah it is." Dark said, pausing with a smirk, "It is indeed a big deal, boyfriend."

It wasn't a surprise to me that Dark would come on strong. He always does. Of course, his boldness often got him in trouble. Where Dark had to give me the 'there is a fine line between courage and recklessness' speech, I had to give him the 'there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance' lecture.

"So we're boyfriends now?" I asked.

"No, were matesprites...Of course we're boyfriends!"

~~~Timeskip: five years later; 3rd person PoV~~~

Things have changed since Link and Dark got together. Dark's support helped Link to find a new, better job as a ranger for one of the local camp grounds. With the higher income, they were able to find a nice home to move to. Since things money wise were stable, they had decided to adopt a kid.

They adopted a young boy with blonde hair and green eyes. His name was Ben, and although he could be a bit of a trouble maker, Link and Dark loved him with their heart's content.
