Sean was sent to the mental ward when his injuries had recovered enough. Thankfully nothing had been broken besides a few fractured ribs, which had almost fully healed when he was transferred. He was in the same group as Cry and got to see the same therapists as him but he still hasn't said a word.

"Cry gets let out in two months if his condition keeps improving. I promised to show him all the fun places around town and take him to a nice restaurant so he can have delicious food for once," Felix said with joy.

"That's nice of you to do. Any particular reason?" I said with a knowing smile. Felix's face flushed and he kept his eyes forward.

"Maybe," he muttered and I smiled more. It was obvious he had a crush on Cry after spending so much time with him. He talks about Cry almost all the time as if he doesn't even want to hide it.

"Morning officers. Here to check up on the patients?" The lady at the front desk asked.

"Yes actually. Are they in craft?" Felix asked, knowing the groups schedule off by heart.

"Yep. They're in room 2 down the hall. Make sure you knock before entering and don't stay too long," the nurse warned. We nodded, thanking her, before heading to said room. I knocked on the door and a few moments later I was greeted with the familiar chest of an extremely tall person.

"Oh, hey Felix, Mark. It's nice seeing you two here," a warm voice greeted. I looked up at Phil's face and smiled.

"Nice seeing you up there," I said with a mixed smirk and smile.

"Haha, shorty. Come right in, we're just finishing up craft time now," Phil said, stepping aside to let us past. We walked in, Felix immediately going over to his masked friend. Cry only ever let's Felix see his face as he's still insecure after what happened to him but he opens up to people speech wise.

"Hey Mark. You looking for Sean?" Dan asked, looking up at me as I entered.

"Ah, yeah actually. Is he not here?" I asked, seeing he wasn't already.

"No, he hasn't come out of his room all week actually. Cry is the only one he really lets in since they had similar experiences but other then that he doesn't really look at anyone. Cry even has to bring his food in because he gets tense when someone else enters the room," Dan said with a sad frown.

"I can talk you him of you want to see him," Cry's voice said next to me. Him and Felix were standing to my left, having heard the conversation.

"I don't have to see him if he feels uncomfortable with people around. I don't want him to feel that way," I said truthfully.

"Well, he needs to open up to someone else besides me or he won't have anyone to talk to when I leave," Cry said sadly.

"That is true. If he can open up to you Mark, as Cry did with Felix, then he'll have someone outside this place he feels comfortable around," Phil pointed out. I thought about it for a second before nodding.

"Okay, but if it doesn't work I'm not going to push him," I said. They all nodded and Cry led me and Felix to Sean's room.

"Now, he prefers to be called Jack so don't call him Sean. It brings up memories," Cry informed outside his door.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Text to talk. The nurse gave him a phone so he had a way of talking if he wanted something but he only uses it when talking to me," Cry said with a shrug. I nodded as he quickly entered the room, closing the door behind him.

"Cry sure is one of a kind. No one else can talk to Se- Jack, besides him. Wow," I said out load.

"Yeah. Cry is special," Felix agreed, a proud smile. I shot him a smirk that made it falter but the door opened again before he could say anything. Cry came out and nodded his head, saying I could enter.

I thanked him and stepped into the brightly lit room. A large window on the opposite side of the room allowed giant streams of sunlight to shine in and cause slight blindness momentarily. I allowed my eyes to adjust before looking around the room, seeing Jack sitting in the corner of the room on his bed, looking out the window at the town beyond.

"Hey Jack. Remember me? I'm the officer that found you," I said softly, not wanting to come off too pushy. He turned his head slightly and allowed his eyes to scan over me quickly before returning his gaze to the window, giving off a single nod.

"Cry said you feel uncomfortable when other people are in the room. If you do then I'll leave," I said, telling him I didn't want to cause any harm to him. My comment caught his attention and he turned to me again, contemplating on whether he wanted me to leave or not.

He glanced down at the small device on his bed and hesitantly picked it up. I felt a little better since Cry said he only used it to talk to him, ignoring everyone else really. He typed away at the phone before checking to make sure he spelt everything correctly. I waited patiently the whole time.

"You can stay. You're not like all the pushy nurses who constantly ask questions," the robotic speaker said. I smiled and nodded, sitting down against the door. I accepted his personal space and didn't want to immediately break it. He seemed comfortable with where I sat and once again stared out the open window.

I didn't try to engage in any conversation with him, allowing him to have his peace and quiet as he watched the beautiful landscape he probably hadn't seen in years. If he wanted to talk then he would but I wasn't going to push him into doing anything he didn't want to. So I sat in silence and waited.
