HER 30 DAYS BUCKET LIST

PROLOGUE

Milliecent Chavez is a seventeen year old girl, who unfortunetly encountered an unexpected accident on her way home after school.

Everything happend so fast, and when Millie woke up in a white empty room, she couldn't remember anything.

Confused, she tried adjusting her eyes on the brightness of the room and tried to figure out where she was. She then noticed that she wasn't alone.

A young girl who looks like a ten year old kid, was standing just a few feet away from her,  she has a mischievous smile plastered on her angelic face while looking straight into her eyes.

While staring at the little girl, she felt that she was kind of familliar but couldn't remember where she possibly saw her. Still smiling while closing thier distance. Millie instantly felt that something was off to the little girl who is now standing  right in front of her.

"Hi Millie, I'm certain that your so confused right now, so let me tell you straight to the point, You're already dead."

Shocked would be an understatement on what Millie felt after what she just heard, she couldn't find words to speak for a moment. At first she thought maybe the little girl was just doing some crappy prank on her, but no.

She waited for the girl to suddenly burst out laughing infront of her and say that she was just joking, but no. She didn't do any attempt to take back what she just said.

When she was about to protest, she suddenly felt a pang of pain in her head, then her memories came rushing in, the events in her school, the phone call with her dad, and the car accident when she was on her way home.

She looked again to the girl infront of her, horrified at what she just remembered. She coudn't believe she's already dead.

She started crying hysterically, feeling all the regrets she has. She didn't knew life would be so short on her. She's only seventeen for pete's sake. She haven't even enjoyed her life to its fullest yet.

Millie was crying to her hearts content, when she remembered the girl infront of her, she was still there. Watching her cry  while still smiling at her.

She was about to speak when she cut her in.. .

"I know you have so much regrets Millie, that's why I'm here. I'm giving you a second chance to live again and enjoy your life this time. But of course it won't be the same again, your time will be limited already."

She suddeny showed her a very familliar notebook.

"Yes Millie, this is your Bucket List Notebook. I will give you only 30 days to live your life again and do all the things that you have listed here."

Dumbfounded. Millie had a hard time digesting what the girl have just said, so she asked the first thing that pop out in her head.

"Who are you?"

The girl just smiled again the same smile she have when she first saw her.

"You can call me Ria, your guardian angel. So? will you do it?"

Millie couldn't really think straight at the moment, but she just suddenly noticed herself not crying anymore and was nodding to Ria in response to her question.

"Actually, you really don't have a choice. You really have to do these in order for you to peacefully move on from earth and go to heaven or else you'll be stock here in the "in-between" forever and alone." it was really hard to missed the way she pronounce the words forever and alone. And it surely catched Millie's full attention.

"But of course as your Guardian Angel, I have to make sure that you will surely go to heaven, that's why, I'm making your task a lot more easier. All you have to do is do all the things that you have listed in your bucket list. As simple as that right? and don't worry I'll be there for you all the way."she explained while crossing her arms in front of her. For a moment, Millie thought she was like a mother lecturing to her child.

Millie's still confused about everything but she sure does understood the part where she can live her life again and she will be able to erase all her regrets in the span of 30 days.

Without any further questions. Millie jumped off the bed where she was seating and looked straight in Ria's eyes.

With full of  conviction in her voice she said..

"I'll do it."

Ria then flashed her a genuine smile  but then replace into a grin instantly and then all went black again..
