My name is Carter, I'm shy and not very interesting.
My best friend is Charlie, everyone likes her. She's so outgoing, smart, and pretty.
I live in Anaheim, California with My mom and brother Jackson. I'm thirteen and my brother is eight.
Me and Charlie both like the same guy. Jake. Jake longer.
Charlie always makes the first move. She always talk's and flirts with him. i sit at the wall and read. I'm not very social. Not many people talk to me. I wish i was Charlie.
I wake up, First day of eighth grade. I do not want to go. "i better get up." i mumble. I jump in the shower. Once i get out i pick a outfit. One girl in the shadows coming up. Just leggings and a plain black v-neck tee. I straighten my brown hair and walk out of the room.
I walk downstairs. There's a note from my mom. it said *Carter, im just out with Jackson there is some cereal in the pantry. ill see you at 5:30, Love you*
"yeah, love you too." i mumbled
