Genji sat in his cell the night of day 30 and stared at the door. "I got caught because of stupid mistakes" Genji said. He started remembering how that morning was.
*Flashback special effects*
He was woken up to the pounding on his door. Genji opened the door to have Lena standing there with a cup of coffee in her hand. "Winston has a new mission for you he said he'd meet you in his lab" Genji took the coffee and was sipping from it as she continued to explain where Winston's lab was in the base. Tracer went to take a sip from the mug only to realize that Genji stole it. "That's why I don't bring you coffee in the morning " she grumbled. Genji set the mug on his night stand and threw on a shirt,sweatpants and crocs. Lena was gone when he went to leave with the coffee. 'She's probably going to go with Emily to the new Scream movie' he thought as well of much he wished he had someone special. Genji shuffled his way to the kitchen. He wasn't even 2 meters away from the door and he could already smell Zarya's boiled chicken. He wished he could not smell some times. Genji walked in to the kitchen, poured him a cup of coffee and heading towards Winston's lab. Pharah was walking back from the training room. Genji had to brace himself because she was as beautiful as the egyptian goddess Hathor. He may have been a playboy but he could barely get a word out to express himself when she was in the room. "Good morning Genji" she said "G-g-good morning Fareeha" he stuttered. She took the coffee mug from his hand. "Thank you for the coffee" she said before heading to the living area. Steamed hissed from his shoulder. He hated to see her leave but loved to see her go. He silently cussed himself out for being so foolish. His paced quickened to Winston's lab. "Morning Genji" Winston said looking at his workbench "Morning Winston. I heard you have a mission for me." " Ah yes. You are being sent to Yemen for a intel gathering mission. We have reasons to believe that Talon's base is somewhere in the region due to the activity in the region. You leave at 12:00." Winston stated. Genji quickly rushed back to his room. He packed, took a shower and laid his gear out while doing a maintenance check on it. He left his door open. "When's your mission?" Pharah asked leaning on the door frame "In 2 hours" he replied. She moved to his bed and sat on it. Genji felt his face heat up. "Well I was wondering if after your mission if you want to go to a movie or dinner?" she questioned. His shoulders started venting steam. "I would love to" Genji said excited. "Make it back in one piece then" she said before leaving.
*Time skip to Yemen*
Genji looked at the building he would be staying in. 'It's almost 3 in the afternoon best find my room'. He looked down the street not noticing the woman standing in the trench coat. "Overwatch's agent has arrived" she said into her comm. Genji quickly settled in and set to work. He couldn't stop himself from thinking about that morning. Genji heard someone at the door. He opened it and immediately regretted it. The person slammed him into the wall. Genji groaned as he felt him being pick up and slammed into the ground. He looked up to the noise of tsking."I thought you would be better than that" "Mercy?" "No" she said before throwing him through the wall into another room. Genji got up and chucked shurkiens at her. She simply side step. 'Fuck fuck fuck' he thought throwing more shurkiens at her. She was in front of him before he could react™. He felt her hands on his throat. "A little slow but I'm alright with that" she joked. Genji stabbed her arm with a shurkien. She yelped in pain and dropped him. Genji only saw one option as he charged her through the window. The landed on a nearby roof. Genji took off running. He has to get away and call Winston to send anything to pick him up. He jumped between roofs before she mange to throw a boa catching and tazing him. He blacked out.
*Flashback is over*
Devil walked into his cell with a mischievous grin.
