Y/N's P.O.V.

1 year later

I was living alone in my apartment and everything was horrible, ever since a year ago I had that fight with my ex Josh, my life was turned upside down, I couldn't even get that picture of him slapping me out of my head, I had a job that helped me pay the bills and was sorta happy with my life, but not fully happy, part of me was missing him and part of me didn't even want to think about him. I was still in contact with Tyler and Jenna and Jenna always updated me that Josh was still broken down from a year of us, he never did anything too much, he was always in bed, the only time he got out of bed was to use the bathroom, or take a shower, part of me didn't want to even care, until one day.

I woke up to my phone as it vibrated telling me I had a message, I looked at the phone and it was a message from Jenna

Jen My Flower 🌺: Hey, girl I was wondering if you'd like to come over tonight and have dinner with Ty and I?

I read the text and thought 'But isn't Josh there, I don't want to see him?' While I was thinking, she texted again like she read my mind

Jen My Flower 🌺: No, Josh will not be here, I kicked him out tonight.

I sighed and replied

Y/N bestie: Sure, what time do you want me there?

Jen My Flower 🌺: At 6

I replied with an ok, it was 12 and I had six hours till I had to be ready, I went downstairs to the kitchen and made me cereal pouring the cereal first then the milk, I had a memory while I poured the milk

"How can you pour the milk first then the cereal next, Jish?" I cringed watching Josh as he poured the cereal after and he laughed, "I don't know, I just prefer it that way." I smiled, "You're such a weirdo." Soon the memory ended and I had barely realized that I overfilled my bowl with milk, "Oh shit!" I set the milk down and grabbed paper towels and cleaned up the milk spilled everywhere "What a waste of breakfast!" I threw the dishes in the sink and just watched tv for the next few hours.

Currently it was 5:00 pm and I thought maybe I should get ready now, I ran upstairs and took a nice warm shower and picked out casual clothes, because to be honest, it was just a homemade dinner at Tyler's, so I didn't have to look that fancy, after putting on a little bit of makeup, I grabbed my keys, purse, phone and ran outside to my car and drove off to Tyler's and Jenna's, as I got there, I got out and locked my car, I knocked on her door, and was instantly met with Jenna smiling wide, "Hey, Y/N/N(Your nick name), come in!" We hugged and I set down my purse on the floor and took off my shoes by the door, when I looked up I saw Josh stand up and walk over to Jenna and I, "Jenna, I thought you told me he wasn't here?" I was a little upset, but a little excited to see Josh, he still looked handsome and lovely when I first met him, Jenna interrupted my stare at Josh "I wanted him here and you to come, because I want you guys to talk it out and get back together." I gave her a glare and she gave me a thumbs up as she walked over to Tyler and leaned against him as he held his arms around her waist looking at both me and Josh. Josh cleared his throat and sat down making me join him, I bit my lip and we both stared at each other in what we wore, he bit his lip "Y/N, I missed you so much, and I know you probably don't want to see me, but I'm really sorry about cheating on you, I'm sorry for doing all those things behind your back, the lying, the cheating, everything, I know you may not accept, but I want to get back together with you, I can't be alone anymore, I may have Tyler and Jenna there for me, but I need you the most, do you agree on taking me back?" I teared up as Josh said those things, honestly my heart and soul did really miss him and I definitely wanted to be with him again, "I missed you too, Josh I couldn't take it, being away from you was horrible, I was just too lonely and heartbroken, I was being too clingy, but I didn't expect you to cheat on me, I know you needed to be out a lot more, but I do accept you to be with me again." Josh smiled and had a tear stroll down his face, I gently wiped it away and he spoke once more "I promise to never cheat on you again, I don't want to lose you again, you mean so much to me and I can't bear losing the love of my life again, will you take me back now?" I smiled "Does this answer your question?" I instantly leaned in and smashed my lips against his and Josh happily kissed back, things escalated so quickly the kiss was becoming heated, Jenna stopped us "Ok, lovebirds, go home and enjoy the rest of the night together, we don't need anything going on our couch."
