Musethetics - Here Comes The Sun ( The Beatles )

Slowly she opens her eyes , appreciating the serene atmosphere around her . The golden light of the sun shines bright through the chiffon curtains leaving an orange hue to the beige walls in her room .

She lies a while in her bed , taking time to think about what today might have in store . She gets up and ties her now messy hair into a neat bun .

Quickly turning on the kettle , she goes to the washroom and starts brushing her teeth and taking a bath , after which she walks towards her miniature wardrobe which had the essentials .

Wearing a simple flowery dress , she grabs the kettle and prepares a cup of green tea for herself .

Most people don't like green tea , but for some strange reason her tastebuds liked the quaint taste of  the green liquid managed to keep her calm .

She grabs he cup and she walks out the door only to remember she forgot her bag .

Quickly grabbing that as well , she walks down the street making sure to put on a smile and greet everyone she sees .

"Good Morning , Mr Preston ! "

"Good Morning , dear ! "

"Howdy , Lisa ? "

"All's good , thanks for asking !   "

Not many interesting things happen in the little ol' town of Redwood , people here tend to enjoy the stability they can have in their lives and the lack of change .

Just like she liked it .

She enters Tea and Timber Coffee , opened long ago by Paul and his wife Sandra , the paradigm of close knit couples , always staring dotingly at each other's eyes , their gleams filled with pure adoration.

"G'morning to ye ! "

"Good morning , Mr Sherbet ! "

"Where's Mrs Sherbet ? "

"She's at the back baking her crazy creations again !"

Laughing , Lilian puts on her apron and heads to the back kitchen where the beautiful aroma of freshly baked chocolate cookies could be smelt .

"Ooh ! It's Thursday already Mrs Sherbet ?"

"Yes Lily! She says with the widest smile . And how many times do I have to tell you , call me Sandra ."

"Sure Mrs Sherbet ."

Mrs Sherbet gives Lilian a hard look after which the guffaw for what seems like an hour .

"Think I can snag one ?"

"Sure , honey ! I always make a few extra , I know how much you love them " - she says handing Lily a small packed filled with scrumptious cookies .

Lily proceeds to walk towards the front and starts taking orders from everyone .

Working here for the past 6 years , Lily pretty much knew everyone and they're orders as mostly people here are regulars . Redwood isn't the most popular town around here , but to many , it's the most peaceful , which is why many choose to stay here .

"Hi ! The usual , Violet ? "

"Yup ." She replies , her eyes slowly wandering towards the the display of cookies .
