chapter 9 - i'll go alone.

your POV

i woke up in the barracks of the survey corps. today was training and to be honest i can be arsed.

(time skip)

we were all given horses, these horses were to stay with us until death, i choose a name, the name resembled its colour of its coat, the name i choose was (h/n).

we where shown to a wide field where we were allowed to practise our horse riding skill, isabel was on her horse right away, it was like she had done this a million times before.

The young female scout incharge of our horse riding lesson was very impressed.  

as i got onto my horse, i didnt knwo what it was but i strange feeling came over me, was this what it was like to be free?

ive lived my intire like down in the underground but i am finally free!

as i rode (h/n) through teh field i felt the wind in my hair and breathed in the cool summer air!

Next we moved onto battle training.

we were handed blades and a new 3D manoeuver gear, are objecive was to go into the training forrest and cu the napes of wooden training titans.

Levi and I drew our blades in our normal way with one blade backwards and the other forwards.

"what the hell you tow doing, do you want to get yourselves kill first day!"

we turned to face the scout that shouted that at us but before I could say anything Levi stepped in.

"all we have to do in slit the nape right, now shut the hell up and leave us too it!"

he turned to face me and then nodded before shooting the wire from the ODM gear and flying into the forest the sped of sound. I soon followed him, and shouted after him.

"levi wait for me!"

(time skip to after training)

after training me a Isabel were going back to the barracks to meet the boys.

"well that was way more effort than I could be bothered with doing" I said with a sigh, every muscle in my body was aching.

"yeah sis but it was worth it, I mean we are out from the underground so you should be greatful!" Isabel replied with a smile as she bounced along the hallway." anyway are you reday for tonight"

"tonight?"

"yeah you know the mission for the document?"

oh yes, the whole reason we are here is to collect that document and kill Ewin smith. and tonight we are to search through his office! I nodded in agreement to Isabel.

"hey (y/n)...can I ask you something"

"yeah go ahead."

"what do you think of Levi exactly?"

this question took me by surprise, because I don't really know, he has been like an older brother to me and Isabel, but maybe the love I feel for him isn't a brotherly love, of course its not. but I know exactly why Isabel is asking me this. she likes him. and he likes her, I know that's the case just by the way we acts around her, it must be the case.

"he, ummm, he's.... a great friend, nothing more nothing less."

she looked over me with confusion and relief.

"okay, if that's all that's good I guess..."

from then until the dorms we just walked awkwardly next to each other.
