The next day we all went down to the park by the corner shop to mess about but the park was full of little kids so we decided we'd come back at about ten.

We had no idea what to do until then.

Everyone wanted to go to the Fish and Chip shop.

The thing is that I'm vegetarian.

There's not much you can get at a Fish and Chip shop.

"I'm just going to get something from the corner shop." I said as I started to walk towards the door "There will be a sandwich or something in here."

"Well I'm going to get a drink so I'll come in too." Ayano followed.

I ended up buying a tub of fruit and a cheese sandwich.

Ayano bought a can of diet coke.

After the long wait at the chippie we ended up going for a walk in the woods.

I started trembling as soon as we entered the dark gloomy trees.

I felt someone's arm go round me. I looked up and saw Budo . My head automatically rested on his shoulder and we walked into the woods together.

While the others played a mad game of hide and seek I just slumped onto a tree and fell asleep.

About half an hour later Midori Gurin woke me up.

" Come on we're going to the park now!"

It was pitch black when we arrived at the park.

I sat on a swing and just watched all the others mess about.

After a while Oka came and sat down too.

"This is the first time I've ever had fun." She whispered "For once I feel happy."

I smiled at Oka and nodded at her.

"Go join back in then"

"No I wanted to sit with you for a while."

We sat on the swings for a good while then everyone went back to their own house.

Apart from me and Budo.

We decided that I'd ask my mum to let him stay over.

We couldn't let my mum know.

She would kill me.

Budo asked me why I was so scared of my mum finding out.

I stayed silent. He kept asking me questions but I refused to talk.

He seemed so upset and I felt horrible

but there was no way I could tell him. Tell anyone.

Mum happily let him stay over and she asked if he wanted the spare matress to sleep on or would he prefer just squeezing in with me.

"Ummm... I'll just squeeze in with Shin if that's alright."

"Sure" she smiled and walked out. "If you need me I'll be in my room."

We ended staying up watching youtube until midnight and then we just lay there in the darkness.

We didn't say anything but Budo reached out and ran his fingers through my hair.
