Ring! Ring! Ring! The school bell went off signalling lunch. As everybody is grabbing there Science stuff and leaving, Mr. Klingen calls out to me."Julie do you think you can stay for a moment?"
"Uh sure..." I reply.
"Hey Jules, I'll save you a seat." My Bestfriend, shellie says as she walks towards the door.
"Yes?" I say once I'm infront of his desk.
"Julie..." he sighs. "Im sorry to say but your grades are droping. I'll have to call your parents. I'm sorry julie."
"Please don't!" I say frantically. "I'll do anything if you don't! I'll do extra work, study harder and longer! Anything! Just don-"
"Okay, okay!" He cuts me off. "You have until the end of the week to make your grades go up. If you don't get an at least a
B+ on the quiz, Thursday I will be calling your parents." He says as he gives me a stern look."Thank you!" I say with joy. "You won't regret this!"
"Now go eat." He excuses me.

. . ."Hey Babe!" My boyfriend, Paul says as he kisses my cheek.
"So what did Mr.Klingen want?" Shellie asks me as I sit down at our table.
"Oh nothing." I brush off her question. I'm not going to tell my bestfriend and boyfriend that my grades are dropping. After all I'm suppost to be the smart one of the group. Shellie is suppost to be the fashion, popular crazed bestfriend. And as for paul. He's suppost to be the athlete also polular but isn't obsessed with it boyfriend.
"So... Tonight there's this party at Finn's! Wanna go?" Shellie fills in the awkward silence.
"I'm in." Paul says.
"Can't. Gotta study for our science quiz on thursday." I reply to Shells invite.
"Awww, but it won't be the same without the life of the party.." She tries to persuade me.
"Nuh uh, not today." I refuse to go.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
"Gotta go talk to you later!" Shells calls over her shoulder.
"Bye babe. See you later?" Paul asks as he quickly pecks my lips. His lips are chapped.
"Yeah bye! And put some chap stick on!" I call after him.
"Okay, got it!" He shouts.
"And now theres one..." I say as I pick up my book bag.
"Hey Julie! It's good to see you again!" Says Natasha Fairfield. She moved away for a couple of years because of her fathers job.
"You too!" I reply. "Oh god how long has it been? Two years?"
"I think so. Anyways I got to get to class! Talk to you later? It was nice seeing you!" She says as she walks away.
"Same here!" I call after her.
Now I really have to get to study hall.
.
. .
. . .A week later.
I open my front door to my house and try to sneak up the stairs.

Is what I heard as my mother came into view. "Julie darling, do you have anything to say?" She questions.
"Hmm?" She raises a perfectly arched eyebrow.
"You look very beautiful today?" I question, but I know whats going to happen. They did this to Marshall all the time.
"Really!?" She says. "I got a very interesting call today from Mr. Klingen. He says your grades have been dropping!" her voice raises at the end of her sentence.
I look down not meeting her eyes."Is it true?" She asks.
I nod my head. "Yes, it is."
"And after all the money we spent on you for the tutors! Oh god! Julietta Jennifer Dawson do you know what your father is going to say!?"
"I'm sorry mom!" I cry out.
"He's going to be furious! Your already turning into your brother!" she spits.
"And what's wrong with Marshall!? He's doing just fine!" I shout back.
"He's a disappointment! That's whats wrong with him!"
Tears start to come out of my eyes as I run up to my room. Once I'm up there I slam my door shut.
I climb onto my bed and lay down. "He is not a disapointment" I keep mumbling to myself, over and over again until I fall asleep.
Why can't I just die? Was my last thought when sleep invaded me.
