LightingStar

This is Lightingstar, leader of EchoClan.

Facts:
1. After he was attacked by a RippleClan apprentice when he was an apprentice, he instantly fell in love with her.
2. Lightingstar had a crush on the former RippleClan leader since he was an apprentice. Their leaders died in the same battle, at the time Moonfur( the cat he fell in love with) was deputy and became leader. Lightingstar became deputy and became leader a few moons before Moonstar died.
3. Lightingstar was born during a thunderstorm that killed his father, he was named after the day he died.
4. Moonstar had fallen in love with Lightingstar too, and she tried to convince him by telling him that if he joined RippleClan, she would make him deputy. Lightingstar was going to say yes but refused realizing that she'd have to die before his dream of being leader came true.
5. Lightingstar once fell in love with a she-cat in his clan after he realized he couldn't be with Moonstar and took her as his mate, only to realize that he didn't love her and that she only reminded him of Moonstar, so he broke up with her.
6. Lightingstar lost three lives from refusing to fight Moonstar's clan mates and lost three more from refusing to fight Moonstar herself.
7.Moonstar died giving birth to the kits of a cat who had forced her to be his mate, she committed suicide because she didn't want to be with him and spent her last moments on the border with Lightingstar, grooming the kits and at the last moment, before Moonstar jumped into a gorge, Lightingstar asked her to be his mate when he joined her in StarClan, and she accepted.
8. Lightingstar lost 1 life trying to save Moonstar from the gorge but failed. He sacrificed seven lives for the cat he loved but knew he couldn't be with.
9. After 10 moons of being leader, Lightingstar only had 2 lives left.
10.  Flowersong's kits were born only one moon after Moonstar's death which made Lightingstar think about Moonstar's kits, making him sad.
11. Lightningstar was very fond of Darksong and Skypelt because Darksong reminded him of Moonstar's enthusiasm and Skypelt reminded him of what Moonstar looked like and her courage and bravery.
12.As a kit, Lightingstar was teased about his dead father.
13. Moonstar stood up for Lightingstar as apprentices at a gathering when he was teased about his dead father again.
14. Lightningstar killed his own older sister when they were warriors in revenge of not letting his father into the clan shelter. That was what had killed him.
15. Lightingstar tried to kill Cloudfoot once for refusing to go out into the snow to get more herbs when half the Clan suffered from greencough.
16. Lightingstar always trusted Mintleaf more than Cloudfoot.
17. Lightingstar never liked Meadowlight because her mother is his former mate, Willowleaf.

Tragic event: Lightningstar was very energetic as a kit, he always dreamed of becoming leader and he looked up to his sister. It was a windy day when he was born. It had been a few hours after his birth when he opened his eyes. His parents her surprised at how quickly he had opened them. Winterstar, the former leader, padded out of her den which was a cave beneath a ledge that stood out from a mountain onto the camp. The mountain protected one side of the camp from RippleClan, that way the warriors wouldn't be surprised to see them crashing in on an attack through one side of camp. The other side was a wall of brambles that also protected camp, and only a gap large enough for a full-ground cat to walk through. From the entrance the camp sloped down the tiniest bit to form a small ravine. Rocks were scattered among it, so it was easy for enemies to slip. EchoClan cats rarely slipped, because it was easy for them to climb rocks due to most of them having hooked and sharp claws. However, for those who didn't have hooked claws, lived among these rock their whole lives, so they were used to them. Winterstar padded up the outcrop onto the ledge which was known as GreatLedge. His sister was going to become a warrior that day, and her familiar call rang out through camp. " Palepaw, please step forwards." That was his sister. Suddenly, lighting split the sky and a thunderous roar followed it. Wind blasted their pelts, and rain began to fall. Winterstar yowled the warning call and dashed to the elders den which was a small cave carved into the mountain, a rocky outcrop led up to it. Palepaw let out a snort and followed her. The elders den was the safest place in the camp. Inside grew moss and some plants too. There was a puddle at the edge in which the elders could drink out of. All the warriors and apprentices followed into the elders den. Some of them helping to take the kits up there. Lightingstar still hadn't gotten his name, and was carried by Rainwhisker to the elders den. His mother curled up around him at the edge of the den, he could see the camp down below. The only cats left were Winterstar, Rushingriver the deputy (and Lightningstar's father), and Palepaw. Winterstar was battling against the wind, climbing up the outcrop, sending pebbles showering down onto the camp floor. Rushingriver was climbing up the outcrop as well, a little way behind Winterstar, arguing with Palepaw as he did. "Why can't she just make me a warrior really quick?" She complained. "Because there's no time!" He retorted with a glare at her. "Come on." Palepaw fell silent and climbed the outcrop alongside her father. She suddenly dashed up ahead of him and reached the safety of the cave as soon as Winterstar did. Rushingriver paused, sputtering from the rocks and dust that had showered onto his face. Lilyleaf, Lightingstar's mother, told Palepaw to help her dad." Oh don't worry I will." She replied with a smirk. Rain drenched Rushingriver's pelt, pulling him back. By now the camp was flooded, water lapping at the edge of the outcrop about a tail-length high. The warriors and apprentices stared down on what they had built their lives upon. But all they saw was an ocean of water and wind. Suddenly the wind roared more fiercely, fierce enough to send Rushingriver back a few paw steps, despite his long, hooked claws. Lilyleaf screeched in horror at the sight of her mate being pulled down into the flood. Rushingriver did not give up, he continued climbing until he was a tail length from the cave. The water had risen and was only two tail lengths beneath Rushingriver. Everything else, had disappeared. The wind had swept many of the rocks and pebbles away from the outcrop, so it was steeper and slipperier. Palepaw had held a rock beneath her paw, and was glaring down at her father. She acted like it slipped from her grip and it tumbled down onto Rushingriver, plummeting his forepaw. He yowled in agony as he lost his grip on three paws, he was dangling from one only. His clan-mates shrieked and yowled at the sight of their deputy like this. Palepaw was closer to the edge than anyone else. Rushingriver reached out and looked at her with pleading, and frightful eyes." Help me, Palepaw!" He yowled. Palepaw reached out for his paw and grabbed it but didn't pull him up. Instead she unsheathed her claws, digging them into his pads. Rushingriver stared at her in horror." What are you doing?!" Palepaw responded calmly, narrowing her eyes." You made your decision, now I'm making MINE. This IS my revenge!" She howled. Lightingstar dragged himself over to the edge and looked down on his father. He didn't understand the sadness dragging at his pelt, but he understood that something bad was happening. Palepaw dug her claws in more and swiped up, slicing his pads and making him lose his grip. Rushingriver screeched in horror as he plummeted down the slope and into the freezing water. Before the water covered his face, he said this." Palepaw...?... you...aren't my daughter...."then the water drowned his body. Palepaw backed up into the cave once more and planted a terrified expression on her face. Lilyleaf looked at her." Palepaw? W-where's Rushingriver?" Palepaw hung her head." I-I tried to pull him up...but he let go before my paw could reach his..." her eyes watered, and the tears weren't fake. Lilyleaf let out a wail of grief. Everyone mourned Rushingriver's death until the storm stopped. Lilystem named Lightingstar when all the water had been cleared away, so she would never forget Rushingriver. All the prey had been washed away, and so had all the nests. Winterstar never looked more tired, spending nights out hunting and collecting moss for the nests.
She lost control.
She didn't think.
And she regretted it till the day she died.
12 moons later...
I slammed Paleflower's head to the leaf-scattered floor. "THAT WAS OUR FATHER!" I cried, rage bubbled in my stomach." HOW COULD YOU BE SO UTTERLY EVIL AND KILL SOMEONE THAT LOVED YOU?!" Pain flashed through me as claws raked my flank, and I heard her cry." I wasn't thinking straight!" Her words came in sobs." I'm sorry! I should have never unsheathed my claws and I regret it to this day..." a wave of sympathy washed over me, but was quickly replaced by fury." Sorry won't bring my father back." I growled, and sank my teeth into her throat. She let an agonized yowl escape her lips, it sounded just like my father's last yowl. Blood sprayed from her throat as she said her last words." You aren't my brother..." I just glared at her in pure hatred." And you aren't my sister." I watched her eyes glaze over, and I knew, she was dead. I buried her body and destroyed any evidence that I had killed her. It wasn't a bad thing, I was just avenging my father. Paleflower killed him, and I'm the only cat that knows the truth behind Rushingriver's death. My name is Lightingstripe, and to this day, I can still hear his agonizing howl as the flood swallowed his body, that was the howl that kept me going, kept my hunger going, my hunger for revenge.

( I just noticed Lightingstar and Moonstar's relationship is so much like Graystripe and Silverstream's lol)

Life summary: In his kithood, Lightingstar was always teased about his dead father, and he would go to the comer of the nursery and cry about it. He had ventured out of camp more than one time when he was a kit. He became an apprentice when he was five moons old, and his mentor was Rainwhisker. He was still teased as an apprentice, but he didn't cry about it anymore. He was once out hunting and didn't notice he crossed the border. A RippleClan apprentice found him and attacked him. They settled it with claws and teeth then went back home. Lightingstar found that he couldn't get her of his mind, and realized he had fallen in love. At gatherings, he talked to her often. Then Lightingstar became a warrior, he was given the name of Lightingstripe and Moonpaw was given the name of Moonfur. She once tried to convince Lightingstar to join RippleClan but he refused. Soon after Lightingstar became a warrior, he killed his sister Paleflower, his mom Lillyleaf died of greencough, and his old mentor, Rainwhisker, retired to the elders den. He fell in love with a cat named Willowleaf and took her as his mate but quickly broke up with her. Willowleaf then found a new mate. Cloudfoot took over the role of the med cat after their old one died. Lightingstar went into battle with RippleClan in which Winterstar and Reedstar ( the former RippleClan leader) died. Moonstar became the RippleClan leader and Lightingstar became the EchoClan deputy. Splashstar ( the former EchoClan leader) soon died and Lightingstar became leader. He lost his first three lives in a battle with RippleClan and lost three more fighting Moonstar although she was fighting against her own will. Lightingstar almost killed Cloudfoot for not wanting to get herbs in the snow when the Clan needed them. Willowleaf has her first kit, Meadowkit. Cloudfoot gets his first apprentice, Mintpaw. Moonstar gets a new mate and soon gets pregnant with his kits. Moonstar decided to commit suicide because she didn't want to be with her mate so she spent her last moments with Lightingstar on the border then jumped into a gorge. Lightingstar jumped after her losing a life but not being able to save her. Birchstar becomes RippleClan's leader and Lightingstar kills Moonstar's cruel mate after returning the kits to them. Flowersong's kits are born. Mistyshade's kits are born. Mintpaw receives a prophecy from StarClan. Lightingstar goes through a hard time with the prophesied cats and eventually reached his last life.
