"Just keep running!" I think to myself, only screaming in my own miserable little head, the only other sound aside my thoughts being the pounding of my combat boots against the ground. but I had to get away from that security guard. See, I tend to break into old abandoned buildings, old malls and asylums being my favorites, one, because theyre really big and take forever to get out of, which give me time to think. Two, I like to graffiti. It takes my mind off of everything. But the asylums on the other hand, make me wanna test my sanity, as if I even have sanity.

I keep running until I come to a fence, which I jump over, thus the security guard giving up as he falls to the ground out of breat. I run to my house and go up to my warm, upstairs room, a nice place to get away from the rainy, cold Washington weather.
"Hailey? Are you home?" my mom calls out, sounding tired. "Yeah mom!" I call back, running a hand through my purple hair, one of the many other colors I've had, laying down, not bothering to take off the boots, putting my head phones on and playing "A Match Under The Water", the headphones drowning out every possible sound in the atmosphere of this broken home. Cant hear my parents screaming. Cant hear doors slamming. Cant hear cars driving off into the night. Me in my own little world, in my escape from the sickness of the planet.
"I kissed the scars on her skin, I still think youre beautiful, and I dont ever wanna loose my best friend"
And with that, I drift away into a sleep, all my worries in that moment washing away
