I woke up in the morning to sirens wailing. I was tired and it was only 6:30. I went to make breakfast and then change into some clothes.

I then decided to go out for a walk.when I started walking, I noticed that people were running, I looked back from where they were running, a lot of police were heading that way, what was going on? When I stopped to look back, I heard a huge explosion come from the city. I was now shocked. I started to run with everyone else.
I then came around to see a shop, everyone was raiding it, so I thought I would get the essentials too. I still didn't know what was happening. I got Medicine, food and a few pairs of clothes. I had a bag with me to put them in. You could hear people screaming. A man around my age came up to me.
"Hey, do you know what's going on?" He asked. He had a tonne of other fronds with him.
"I don't know, there was an explosion in the city though." I said.
Then after I said that, someone fell over, then someone pushed them and started eating them. It was horrible. I screamed. The person who was eating the other person heard me and then started fast walking over to me. I was terrified. Then the man who I was talking to grabbed a baseball bat and hit them head. They then fell to the ground and died.
"Aaaahhh!" A girl screamed form the group he was with.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"You just killed him!" I shouted.
"He was coming for you." He said. I guess he was.
A lot more of those things started coming from the back of the store, eating people.
"You need to come with us, now." He said.
I followed them, they then lead me to a truck. We all got in and one of the boys with blonde hair started driving it. The truck then started and it was driving as fast as it could. We all relaxed. After about 5 minutes. The man started talking to me.
"So, what's your name?" He asked.
"Melanie." I replied.
"I'm Anthony, this is Tessa, Erika, jake, Martinez twins, kade, Tristan and Chance." He introduced them.
"Is this a bombing, maybe radiation?" I asked.
"I dont know, maybe cannibals. This is fucked up." Chance said.
Both of the girls were crying. We then came to another store, it was a drug store. We decided to go look around and see what we can find. When we entered it, there were things all over the floor, blood stains. I wanted to throw up but I knew I was stronger than that. Everyone looked around, it wasn't a big store. Once we got all of the things we probably needed, we left and went back into the van. We didn't know where we were gonna go.
