ANNIE

I was taking a drink of water while waiting in the car for Rachelle to drop off the package.

I tried not to laugh when she tossed the envelope to who I can only assume was her brother.

Then I noticed the guy standing next to him was looking at me. Which kind of made me freaked out a little bit.

He looked almost like Vin Diesel and was just as big as him and was wearing jeans, muscle tank and a vest on him and black steel toed boots.

I noticed him talking to Rachelle about something before taking a final drag of his cigarette and tossing it to the ground. Then I saw her gesture with her hand for me to get out.

She begins introducing me at first, to Knockout. Who very kindly and welcoming held out his hand to introduce himself.

"Hey there, Beautiful. I'm Knockout." He shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Annie." I say blushing a little bit at his comment.

Nice to meet you as well." He says with a smile.

        "You too." I smile.

Then as I get to her brother, despite wearing sunglasses and covering up his eyes, I find him to be beyond sexier than I imagined.

He had a muscled body structure that was similar to Jax from SOA and had slicked back black gelled hair. Almost the kind of hair style that was buzzed short on the sides and a little bit longer on the top. I also took notice that he had sleeved tattoos that seemed to go all the way to his fingertips.

I reached out my hand and introduced myself. Though he must have not been paying attention. At least until Rachelle said his name.

He looked up at me (or at least I thought he did or assumed he did since he was wearing glasses and I couldn't tell a hundred percent).

He then shook my hand and said, "Jay."

Even though he had sunglasses on, I felt like he was watching me still.

I quickly got the thoughts of how hot he was out of my head and tried repeating to myself to be careful and not to fall for him.

Though nothing would probably happen anyways. There was no way in hell that a guy as hot as he was would ever want a girl like me. I have curves, don't have blonde hair, and am not super skinny like Barbie. Though that just described Rachelle in a way. Except maybe more Rockabilly and was prettier and had more tats and piercings on her. Definitely would be a great model for tattoo or and Pin Up magazines or something along those lines.

There was an awkward silence for a brief moment until Knockout broke it.

"Would you guys like a drink?" He asks.

"I don't think so. Maybe some other time thanks. We're going to head to the apartment now. Catch up with you guy's later." Rachelle replied. "See ya."

"Later." Knockout and Jay said as we got back into the car and Rachelle sped off.

*****************************************

It's already been almost a month since I had moved here and started working at the salon.

My clientele was building at a good speed and I seemed to get along with everyone. Except for Tammy. Though I was told by everyone, including Rachelle, that Tammy was a whore and a bitch. But she had a good Clientele for one thing and helped bring in a lot of money into the business. For another thing, Tammy and Rachelle had been best friends since they were in middle school.

There was one more hour before we closed and it was dead so I turned on some music, playing Sam Hunt song, 'Leave The Light On' and  began dancing to it while sweeping and cleaning up a few things.

The music was so loud that I didn't even hear both Knockout and Jay come in. That is, not until I had spun around and was singing the chorus and jumped when I saw the two of them standing there and watching me. Knockout smiled as though he thought I was cute and Jay looked at me with a raised eyebrow. Probably thinking that I'm weird. Though I don't care. I was having fun and thought I was alone.
