I wake up on the couch with a blanket draped over me. I sit up and rub my eyes, looking around my apartment. On the coffee table was a note. I picked it up and read it.

(Y/n)
Sorry I had to leave, it was getting late. See you tomorrow.
Sweet dreams
-Dei

I smiled down at the note and then began getting ready for school. I had just finished getting changed when I heard a knock at my door. I opened it and Sai came in, he sat down on the couch while I packed my school bag. "I see that that your date with Deidara went well", he chuckled. I could feel my cheeks heating up. "It wasn't a date, we were just hanging out", I stutter, tumbling over my words. "We saw you in town yesterday, holding hands". If I could've gone redder I would've. "I uh". "You don't have to say anything, I'm happy for you", he said giving me one of his adorable closed eye smiles. I thanked him and we left. I couldn't wait to see Dei at school today, it was going to be so much fun.

Sai and I walked into school, casually talking. School seemed pretty quiet today, I looked around and smiled when I saw the rest of my friends. "Hey (Y/n)", Tenten giggled waving her arms in the air. I let out a small giggle and walked over to her and the rest of the girls. "Sooooo how was the date?", Ino asks. I blush and tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "I-I don't know if it was a date". "Of course it was a date , you were holding hands!", Sakura exclaims gathering the attention of surrounding students. I sweat drop and wait for other people to stop listening. I saw Deidara walking down the hall, staring at the floor. I began walking up to him, a happy smile on my face. "Hi Dei". He didn't say anything. You noticed that he had a black eye, it pained you to see him hurt. "Are you OK? What happened to your eye?", you ask, placing your hand on his shoulder to get his attention. He pushed you hand off and sent you an angry glare. "Leave me alone you stupid bitch", he growled. I stepped back, it felt like someone had just stabbed me in the heart. "I'm sorry you feel that way", you whisper just loud enough for him to hear you. Many people were watching the scene unfold in front of them. Both you and Deidara walked off in seperate directions.

You sat in class not speaking a word to anyone. At lunch you barely even ate and then came the time you were dreading the most. Art. How are you supposed to avoid someone who is in the same class as you? Its even harder if they are your art partner. You sigh and resting your cheek in your palm. The bell rang and you headed off for class, not even bothering to wait for Sai.

With the Akatsuki

Deidara sat there not saying a word. "Whats wrong with you?", Kisame asks. Deidara just shrugs his shoulders. Pein smirks and ruffles his hair. "See I told you you don't need that whore", he chuckled. "Now stop acting so depressed, I can hook you up with one of Konan's friends if you want", Pein says. Deidara shakes his head and stands up. "No thanks". He walks away with his hands in his pockets, I sad look on his face.

With you

"Hey wait up!", Sai called, stopping beside you struggling to catch his breath. "Sorry I thought you were right behind me", you say clearly uninterested. "What is wrong with you today?", he asks. You look at him and sigh. "I'm sorry its just the way Dei treated me this morning, I shouldn't be taking this out on you". He pulls me in for a hug which I happily accept. "Do you wanna hang out after school?", he asks. "Sorry I've already got plans, maybe some other time". He nods and you both walk into art.

Once everyone was seated Miss Yuhi stood before the class. "OK today I want to see how well you can add emotion and feeling into you art, so please create a masterpiece describing how you feel". I sigh and pick up a small paint brush, tapping my chin with the wooden end. You knew how you felt. Terrible, heart broken, betrayed. You wanted to fake an emotion, maybe you could paint a puppy and say your feeling hyperactive or paint a willow tree swaying in the breezing and say that your calm. But it just felt like lying, like your were cheating yourself. You loved your art because it described exactly how you felt, it was the only way you could do it. I was drowning in sadness and heart break. I dipped my paint brush in a blue paint and began working.
