Chapter 8: Something's up with Violetta

Leon: (Stunned) Wha- what are you saying?

Vilu: I have to put a stop to this entire thing. It's for the best Leon.

Leon: (Shocked) Wait, so after everything that we been through together and the commitment that we made, it's all gone again?

Vilu: What?

Leon: You really plan to end our relationship again for real this time? Are you serious?!

Vilu: HUH?! NO! That's not what I meant. Oh my god, why would you think that?

Leon: Well, It sounded like it.

Vilu: No Leon. That's not what I meant. What I meant was that I want to go and confront Onika to put a stop to this entire thing.

Leon: It didn't sound like that.

Vilu: I swear Leon, I didn't mean that. You have to trust me. (Held his hand)

Leon: (Sighed) Do you really think you can convince her?

Vilu: I'll try. I hope so.

~Someone knocks on their room door~

Vilu: (Opened it) Andre? What are you doing here?

Andre: Uhuh.... Sorry for the unexpected house visit. But I need to stay here for a couple of days again.

Vilu: How many times are you gonna stay here?

Andre: I know, I know. I'm sorry.

Leon: What happened this time? I thought you found a place?

Andre: I did. But I got kicked out.

Leon: Why?

Andre: I guess... The landlord didn't like me. He said something about me being very annoying. I can't remember.

Vilu: Wait, how did you even come in here?

Andre: I have a key. Leon gave it to me.

Vilu: Seriously?

Leon: Well...... I told him if there's anything, he could come here and see me....

Vilu: Well ehem... alright, Sure you can stay here for a few days. (Smiled)

Leon: Yeah, maybe you can help with Mason. You love entertaining him don't you?

Andre: Oh, yes, yes. He is the cutest little guy. I swear he looks exactly like you Leon.

Leon: (Smiled) Thanks.

Andre: Where is he?

Vilu: He's sleeping in his room.

Andre: I wanna go see him.

Vilu: Ehm... Don't disturb him though. It was very hard for me to put him to sleep.

Andre: Don't worry, I got it. (Went)

Vilu: (Sighed) Alright now back to the important stuff.

Leon: It doesn't matter Vilu. I've made up my mind. You and Mason are very important to me right now. I would do anything for you both. If I have to risk my career, I would do it. I love you both too much. Especially you. I can't loose you again Vilu. I can't.

Vilu: I know... but I'll still go and talk to her. I have to.

Leon: No, I'll talk to her. She's my manager.

~ Baby crying ~

Vilu: (Held her head) Ugh... I told you.

Leon: (Sighed)

~Baby stopped crying~

Leon: What happened?

Andre: (Came carrying Mason) See, I did it!

Vilu: (Widened her eyes and yelled softly) WHAT ARE YOU DOING? PUT HIM BACK TO BED!

Andre: But he stopped crying after I carried him!

Vilu: YES NOW PUT HIM BACK TO BED BEFORE HE WAKES UP!

Andre: I think it's better if I carry him.

Vilu: TRUST ME, if he realize he's not in his bed he's gonna cry!

Andre: I don't think so Vilu. He's quiet now. Look at him.

Vilu: Just listen to me and PUT HIM BACK IN THE CRIB.

Andre: He's fine Vilu. I think I know him better. See.

Vilu: I know him better than you Andre! WHO'S THE MOTHER HERE?!

Andre: You are...?

Vilu: EXACTLY NOW GET HIM TO BED BEFORE HE CRIES!

Andre: But I don't understand-

Vilu: You're not getting the couch if you don't put him back in his crib!

Andre: (Ran to the next room)

Vilu: NO don't run ANDRE! Ugh. (Held her head)

Leon: (Touched her shoulders) Hey, hey, hey. Take it easy alright. Calm down.

Vilu: I'm just so stressed about a lot of things. I have to get back in the recording studio tomorrow afternoon to record some songs. Then I have to discuss with Tanya about my future tour plans. And Then I have to go talk to your manager to talk about the whole thing. And then-

Leon: Alright, alright, alright. Slow down. I know you're very busy. But you have to take it easy alright. Don't overwork yourself. It's not good for you.

Vilu: I know but this is not as hard as it seems. For 9 months I have been carrying a child, making music, researching about pregnancy, suffering extreme pain and performing occasionally. It wasn't easy for me but I did it. Now I can finally do all those things without the pregnancy part. Don't worry, I think I can handle it now.

Leon: I have been with you throughout those 9 months and trust me, now I'm telling you that you're pushing yourself too hard. Relax.

Vilu: I can't Leon. I'm a very busy person. To be a successful person, you need hard work and dedication.

Leon: But you are a successful person Violetta. You and me both.

Vilu: I feel as if I've taken a break throughout these 9 months.

Leon: But you didn't. You worked so hard.

Vilu: Exactly! I didn't work hard enough. That's why I feel like I didn't do anything. I need to work extra hard now. I can't forget that I'm also a mother. So I have to work extra hard for myself and Mason.

Leon: Okay Violetta, listen to me. You're gonna go crazy if you keep going on like this. Just chill for a moment.

Vilu: Can't you see I can't chill right now Leon? I have responsibilities.

Leon: Yes, trust me, I have a lot too. But sometimes you need to relax for awhile and give your body a break. It's going to crash if you keep going on like this.

Vilu: (Gasped) 10:00pm. Time for me to feed Mason. He's gonna cry any moment now. (Went)

Leon: (Sighed and folded his arms) I gotta do something before she looses it.

Hihi. Guess who got her gums injected 3 times and 2 tooth extracted and now suffering extreme pain in her mouth? That's right! Me! :)
