Alec's POV
Gold will have to wait a little longer. It was raining out while I drove to pick up Funneh from the hospital. I, of course, had my fake ID with me, where I was supposedly named Jonathan (Joonathin_ ). I pulled into a parking slot and ran out of my car and into the hospital. I get Funneh back. We rescue Gold. I kill Maura. Then it has to be over. The automatic doors slid open for me and I walked into the dull building. "Excuse me;" I say to the woman at the counter. "I'm here to pick up Funneh?" She silently pulls out a clipboard and traces the edge with her finger until she finds her name. "Name and registration?" She says. "Jonathan GoldSledge." I hand her my fake ID. She inspects it, then hands it back. Thank god she fell for it. She picks up a walkie-talkie and says, "Doctor James, Jonathan GoldSledge is here to pick up Patient 37. Over." There was a static filled and muffled response. "Okay, she'll be right out." She put down the device and smiled sweetly at me. I smiled back, a little uncomfortable, then sat down in a chair and pulled out my phone. I had one message. From... my mom?!
Funneh's POV
The doctor insisted he came with me as I walked out in my normal clothes to see Alec. I missed him. I walked swiftly into the lobby where I saw him on his phone. "A-Jonathan!" I corrected myself just in time. He looked up hugged me. "Funneh!" "I'll sign her out." Doctor James said. "Thank you! I paid already he other day! Bye!" I said in a hurry, then ran out the door with Alec on my heels. "Thank god we're out of there! Is Gold in the car? Oh, I'm so excited!" I squealed. "Actually Funneh, there are a few things we need to go over. Gold is kidnapped by Maura. And my parents found me."
