After dinner, Aria and Eli sat on one of the million couches in the living room as Aria watched Eli slowly pour black coffee into her tiny teacup. She had to admit, she was very impressed and didn't feel timid about being in a house, or room, this exquisite before. When Aria first sat down, she thought that she and Eli would have nothing in common but as dinner progressed, it turned out Eli enjoyed a lot of the same things from books to music and so on. They both kept journals and thought reading was an escape from reality, something that she barely heard anyone else say.
He slid her cup over with a delicate smile.
"If it's too strong, let me know," he said, filling up his own as Aria lifted her cup.
Aria took a quick sip, "It's perfect...Look, I wanna thank you for dinner and tonight, it was really nice to see something as beautiful as that,"
Eli quickly took a gulp of his own coffee before reaching over and placing his cup on the coffee table, "Now you know how I feel. When you saw everything, that's a little how I feel when I look at you,"

Aria smiled a little as Eli reached over and gently placed his hand on Aria's.

Aria glanced up from his hand to his face to find him gazing at her lips. Without thinking, she slowly bit her bottom lip before looking away.

Eli lifted his hand from her's and placed it under her chin and moved her sight back to him. He locked eyes with her and slowly leaned forward. He was about to do something he had wanted to do since he first spoke to her at the cafe. He slowly pouted his lips as he watched Aria close her eyes, as if bracing herself, and then he gently pressed his cold lips against her's and felt a spark of warmth being created between them. Her lips were possibly the softest thing he had ever felt. Without thinking, he closed his own eyes as he wrapped his hands around Aria's tiny waist. He sucked on her bottom lip and then...Before he could stop it...He bit her lip.
"Ah," groaned Aria, pulling away and lifting her hand to her lip, there was a small speck of red amongst the pink.
Aria's head was spinning. She hadn't ever had a kiss with such fire before and something inside her loved every second of it, even the feeling of him holding her was enough to set her alight.
"I'm sorry, let me, uh, get you a cloth or something," said Eli, staring at the coffee table as he fought to keep himself from going into the frenzy. The tiniest little drop of human blood had so much power over him.

Aria tapped her lip with the cuff of her denim jacket which soaked up the little blood instantly. She didn't want to move too fast since Eli was sitting very tense, like a hawk watching prey. She dropped her arm as she looked at him, "It's fine, it's only a little bit,"

"No," he said, standing up and moving across the room at an alarming rate.
Aria gasped a little as she barely saw move. One second he was next to her, the next he was against the wall at the far side, "How did you do that?"

She stood up slowly as she watched Eli press himself into the wall, "Please, just stay where you are,"
He hoped to God she would do as he said. He knew if she came closer, he could kill her in seconds. The sight of the blood on her now-dry lip, the scent of her blood pulsing in her neck. Everything about her was like a ticking time bomb.
Eli peeled himself off the wall and quickly headed towards the hall, "I'll be back in a minute,"

Then he vanished, leaving Aria in the spacious room.

She sat back down on the couch as she puckered her lips. She had been quite happy now she was just confused and wanted to go home. However, it felt like a feeling that just made her tired to her very bones, as though the energy had been sucked out and replaced with doubt. Maybe Eli regretted kissing her this early, surely she shouldn't have been that easy to kiss. God, he probably thought she was some kind of slutty student.

Steven entered the room as Aria stared at the brown stain on her cuff.
"Oh," exclaimed Aria, standing up, "Is Eli okay?"

"Eli would like me to tell you that he's very sorry but he has been hit with a sudden wave of nausea and would like me to take you home in case you end up sick too," explained Steven, approaching her.
Aria stood up and nodded as she pushed her hair off her shoulders.
