I woke up in the old cellar. My room was dark and damp as usual. I turned on the light. it was midnight and the moon shown over the hills. It was raining and it the last day of my high school from here on out, I was a official high school student. I could hear my parents talking about it over a cup of dark blood.

I finally got up out of bed when I heard thunder. I stepped on the cold floor and slowly walked up stairs to the kitchen.

"Mom said morning my little pumpkin."

I looked at her coldly. Her hair was red and her eyes were sky purple in the moon light. Yes the sky is  purple around here. She sat next to the window. Dad sat on the other end as quiet as possible. His hair was black and his eyes were dark red.

"I said don't call me that".

"Dad said don't say that to your mother."

I laughed and I obviously didn't care what he said. Mom gave me a smirk. Dad smiled and looked at the calender on the other half of the room. I looked at his facial expression. The door bell rang. I grabbed a piece of toast and took a sip of blood. I ran to the door. There stood Gabrielle, my best friend. I smiled brightly at her and she smiled back at me.

"Gab said ready to go."

"I said school doesn't start for another two hours."

"Gab said I forgot my clock is broken again."

"I said let me guess your brothers."

Sometimes I wish I had brother or a sister to annoy me, but Gab brothers like me more than Gab. I don't know why. They just do.

"Gab said I'm coming in. I said be my guest."

"I laughed a little."

"Mom said go get ready for school."

I ran to my room and back and I was ready for school. I got my backpack and umbrella.

"I asked how far is the train to the high school?"

I pulled on my rubber jacket, rubber gloves, and rubber boots. I pulled up the hood to my rubber jacket.

"Mom replied a hour if you walk."

"I said by then, love you."

I closed the door and started to walk with Gab. It actually took fifty-seven minutes to get to the school train. There sat on a bench next to Gab. She looked seriously at the ground.

"I asked is there something wrong?"

"Gab said nothings... wrong."

Thunder rolled down the track. It made a complete stop at the sign. I stood up and bumped into a dark figure. I stared at him. The second I saw him I felt like I'd seen him some where.

"He said Alex, it's me Jackson."

"I asked who?"

"Jackson your friend from New York, from first grade."

I stared at him in confusion as I walked into the train and took our seats. My eyes sparkled as I sat down near a old, dusty window. It was noisy for a while. Gab wasssitting next to me texting her boyfriend she had known since third grade. Then I remembered Gab and him had a argument, yesterday. I felt terrible I forgot about her heart break. I still don't know this guy though. I excited the train along with all the other students.

"I said sorry Gab I forgot about your break up."

"Gab said I know looking at the ground in tears."
