One Shot

"Do you even know me?" I asked him. "Yes I do." He simply said. But I wasn't satisfied so I challenged him again, "No you don't."

And that was when he really looked at me, in the eyes, "Yes. I do." He told me, emphasizing the words.

"But you didn't know my favorite color." I told him. "Green." He raised an eyebrow at me.

I nodded my head, "You were right. But why did you give me pink shirt when I really wanted that green one?" I said to him. "'Cause you already have so many green shirts on your cabinet. I think it would be a time if you would put a different color on it." He told me, like it was an obvious thing in the world.

"But pink isn't just my color. It's so girly." I shuddered at it. "But you were wearing it right now." He shrugged at my shirt. "Well, I don't have any t-shirts." I defend myself.

He rolled his eyes and muttered something. "Besides, it really sucks. I mean the shirt." I totally told him so. He just glared at me and said, "Then if it does suck. Strip it off." And held out his hand.

I gulped, I must challenged him if he was challenging me, "Why would I do that? Aren't you touched that I am still using it even if it sucks? You must thank me for it." He just smirked, "You just don't want to strip it off because you love it."

"No I don't. Because you're a pervert and I don't want you to win." I rolled my eyes at him. He just chuckles. Seriously, that peeve's of a head.

"You won't just admit that you love the shirt. I saw you wear it a couple of times." He smirked again. I wonder if I could put off that smirk of his, "Because all my other clothes were in the laundry. And this is all what's left." I said to him.

"Oh really?" He was still smirking at me. "Can you please put off that smirk of yours?" I snapped. I was really getting annoyed at it. Who would want some monkey smirking at you? Surely, not me.

"Come in here." He suddenly softens and commands me so. But still I didn't move from where I was standing. "Come. Don't be stubborn." I turned my back to him. I won't do as you please, jerk.

He finally got the idea that I won't go to him. And suddenly, I felt two hands on my waist. He was hugging me. "What's wrong?" He murmurs. And that's when I felt that my eyes were tearing up. I don't know why. I turned around and hugged him back. My face was in his chest and I was still sobbing.

After a couple of minutes on my emotional banter, I faced him up and said, "How did you know?"

"Know what?" He asked. "Know to comfort me." I whispered. "Because I knew you so well." He said while kissing on my cheek, where a tear landed.

"Will you promise me one thing?" I asked him. He said, smiling, "Sure I would. What's it?"

"Stay with me." And then I hugged him in the chest.

"No matter what happens, Amber. No matter what. I promise to keep my promise. " He told me and kissed my forehead.

I smiled at his shirt, "I know you would." And sure I know he was smiling too.

=))

Is it okay? I mean, do I make a heart-warming one-shot?
