Evan stared a minute, wide-eyed. He couldn't believe the sign he saw before him. Connor had just came back, how could he have already dedicated an orchard to the both of him? It was ...unrealistic.

"Hansen, can I tell you something?" Connor asked him, he felt bad for Interrupting the adorable concentrated Evan , but he did.

Evan quickly turned to face him, quickly. "are um a-are you mad? P-people only call me Hansen on um a negative note..." Evan explained,
Fiddling with his fingers nervously.

Connor looked at him for a second,
"No, no, no, of course not." It was very unlikely for Connor to speak comfortingly, but with Evan it was different, Evan was different. "I thought you should know the true reason I...killed myself...when I saw your note, and the whole thing about Zoe. I was crushed...I like you Evan, well I have since the third grade." He chuckled nervously "I used to write poems about you in class, but I didn't talk to you, because I knew you were scared at me, since I had thrown that printer as Ms.G." He stepped a bit closer to Evan

Evan felt a drop of sweat drip down his forehead, he subtlety reached up and wiped it off. Looking at Connor, glancing at him through the corner of his eyes. How could Connor like someone like him?? He didn't respond, it was probably a joke, this whole thing was probably a joke.

Connor looked at Evan, he was a bit concerned. "Hey, you alright?" He sighed, he stepped closer again. Connor put his hand under Evan's chin, and lifted it up so they were making eye contact.

Evan was looking at Connor, a mixture of fear and appreciation filled his face. He couldn't read Connor's mind so he didn't know how Connor really felt about him, "I-I'm um I'm fine." He stammered.

Connor looked lovingly at Evan, "Can I kiss you?" He asked bluntly, he watched as Evan's face turned a dark shade of red, he had high hopes that Evan may like him too.

Evan couldn't speak, he wanted to, but his body wouldn't allow him to. He hair nodded in consent to Connor's question. His first kiss...with someone he though might actually, genuinely love him. It was a great feeling Evan had never felt before.

Connor closed his eyes, he snaked his arms around Evan's waist. He leaned closer to Evan, gently pushing his lips into Evan's.

That's when Evan opened his eyes, he sat up and looked around himself. He was at home, in his bed. Of course it hadn't been real, why would it have been? Evan knew no one liked him.
