Study....Buddy?

"So I went to give her pencil case back, trying to be cool and toss it on her desk, but I threw it too hard and hit her in the face!"

Chenle burst into laughter from his own story about his new best friend, (y/n). They've only known each other for a few months yet he wouldn't stop talking about her and the hundreds of scenarios that happened at school. Most of the other members were used to it by now.
"Aish, I swear your laugh gets louder every time!"

Keyword, most.

Chenle, of course, couldn't hear the complaint over his dolphin laugh we all know and love. Jeno, on the other hand, heard Haechan whining next to him and couldn't help but laugh.
"So can we ever meet (y/n)?" Mark butted in, causing Chenle's laughter to stop immdeietely. "Cause you keep saying how great she is, but we hardly know anything about her."

At this point, Renjun turned his attention from what he was working on to the others. Mark was right, Chenle always had stories about (y/n), and while he was happy Chenle found someone else he could talk to, all he knew about her was that she spoke Chinese and was in the same class as Chenle. They're in the same school, despite a year difference, but he has never even seen her before.

"Uhh, I'm not so sure, she's not very good with new people." He seemed nervous, like the obvious 'I don't really want you to meet her' kind of nervous. But all of a sudden, his eyes widened in realization, leaving the members even more confused.

"S-sorry to leave so soon, but I gotta go. (y/n) promised she'd help me study for the exams next week, and she'd kill me if I'm late again." With an awkward laugh, Chenle ran to his room, grabbed his school supplies, and was out the door before Mark could even ask him where he was going. 

"Sooo.... is it just me, or is Chenle acting weird lately?" Mark asked as he moved to sit down with the others.

"Ooooooobviously..." Haechan started before going into full cringe-aegyo mode, "Wittle Chenle has a cwush on (y/n)!"

Silence.

He apologized as everyone cringed.

"I'm not sure," confused and still slightly cringing Mark said, "How would you know, anyway?"

"Because I, am an expert."

"Expert at being annoying." Jeno joked with a small smile, making everyone laugh beside Haechan, who for once took something seriously.

"You guys are all so mean to me, I didn't even do anything-" He continued to mumble-rant as he left the dorm, leaving the others still laughing.

   After taking a walk around the building, Haechan finally made his way back to the dorms. Soda in hand, he got off the elevator only to notice Renjun leaving the rooms. He was going to call out to him, but he was acting, kind of, weirdly? He kept looking around, like he didn't want to be spotted. So, being the 'genius' Haechan is, he hid and watched Renjun get to the elevator, before going to the other elevator, planning to just, see where he was going?

Okay nevermind, he was full on following this boy by now. Renjun never really goes anywhere outside the building, not unless he's with Chenle or Jeno. So when Haechan saw him eagerly leave the dorms, he couldn't help but wonder where he was going. Besides, it was pretty boring today. It at least gave him something to do.
