LET THE STORY BEGIN!
~Sabrina's POV~ (After Fairy tale war and 2nd Giant War (Gaea))
Ahhh, it feels good to wake up after a good night's rest without Mister Poopoo head doing anything stupid.
I sat up slowly from my Dad's old bed at my Grandmother's and stretched. I could tell the window was open from the small breeze that crept through the room, causing me to shiver a little.
I opened my eyes slowly, so they could adjust to the light, and then looked around for any obvious traps. Hm, nothing. That's a little strange, maybe Puck isn't feeling well today?
I looked towards Daphne's bed and then remembered she was off on a vacation with Uncle Jake, which I had refused because I had no interest in where they were going. I vaguely heard them discussing something about the Empire State Building and sensing magic there, but I payed no attention. magic always comes with a price and I did NOT want to tangled up in another magical mess.
I got up and walked over to my closet to get some clothes for the day. I grabbed the handle of the closet and began to open it, but Puck suddenly burst into the room, causing me to fall down in surprise.
"PUCK! What was that for?" I demanded while getting up and brushing myself off. "The Old Lady wants to see you, now!" He said seriously. "What happened?" I asked, suddenly very worried.
Puck is almost NEVER serious and when he is, something bad has happened or is going to happen.
"Just hurry up and get dressed and come down to the dining room." was all he said before he left the room, giving me some privacy to change.
I sighed and headed back to my closet. just as I was about to open the door, I saw a ballpoint pen laying on the ground in front of the door. I bent down and picked it up, I wonder what this is doing here? I don't think me or Daphne have had any use for a pen in here recently?, I wondered to myself. I shrugged and set the pen on my beside table and got out my outfit for the day.
I pulled out my favorite purple T-Shirt and grabbed some dark wash jeans with my white belt. I threw my hair up into a quick pony tail and ignored all the makeup I had gathered, but never used. I don't want to repeat that little incident I had when I tried to put makeup on before.
I quickly jogged out of my room and made my way down to the dining room. I was walking past Puck's room just as he was leaving and ended up colliding with him. "Watch where your going Peter Pan!" I threatened and teased at the same time. Puck's face began to turn bright red and I legged it down to the dining room before he could react.
"Hey Granny, what's wrong?" I asked when I saw Grandmother sitting at the dining room table with a serious expression on her face. "Wait for Puck, he needs to hear this too."
I took a seat next to Granny as we waited for Puck and noticed what was on her plate in front of her. Eggs, toast and sausages. But it was normal eggs, toast and sausages. No special coloring or smell, nothing! Something was defiantly wrong. I heard Puck grumble as he took a seat next to me and reached for one of the sausages. As he was bringing it to his mouth, we heard Elvis bark and then race into the room, stealing Puck's piece of sausage as he raced past him.
"Wha-NO ELVIS!" Puck shouted as Elvis basically inhaled the sausage. "Um, Gran-Gran?" I asked. "Yes Sabrina?" She answered while getting up slowly to escape what was yet to come. "Let's finish this outside maybe?" I asked, getting up as well. Puck agreed and we all raced towards to the door.
I was the last one out and as I was leaving I got whiff of a smell so bad that I just wanted to faint then and there and throw up every organ in my stomach!
I launched myself onto the grass outside and began rolling around in the sweet smelling grass to rid the disgusting smell of fart off me.
"Well, now that we've escaped and everyone is here, what is it you want Granny?" I asked, very curious as to what was so important.
"Well, have you noticed that Elvis has been disappearing quite often lately?" Granny asked both me and Puck. Truthfully, I hadn't noticed Elvis leaving, I've been spending most of my time in my room reading up on some of the fairy tale creatures in town and updating my notebook.
Maybe that's where the pen I found this morning came from? I shrugged it off and decided I would ask granny if it was hers later.
I shook my head to say 'no' to Granny's question and I saw Puck do the same thing. "Well, I decided to follow him to see where he was going, well, I had Mr.Canis follow him since I don't believe I would be able to keep up with him." Granny began to explain, "and so he followed him quite a ways into the forest before he saw Elvis jump through a tree and disappear into the shadows!"
Puck and I just stood there, not sure what to say. "D-do you know where he w-went?" Puck stuttered out as he looked towards the forest. Granny shook her head, worrying me even more. "Well, what are we supposed to do?" I finally asked, after a bit of silence. "I want you to go with Mr. Canis the next time he goes after Elvis and see if you can grab onto him before he disappears so you can find where ever he is going to." Granny said calmly.
Puck and I looked at her in shock. "WHAT?!" we both yelled. "Isn't that, I don't know, DANGEROUS?" Puck asked while he backed up a bit. "I don't want to go anywhere with Stink face here anyway!" Puck exclaimed as he pointed at me. "Well I didn't want to go anywhere with you either, Fairy Boy!" We continued to bicker for a little while until Granny shouted "ENOUGH!".
"Mr. Canis will be back soon from the store and when he arrives, I want you both ready to go after Elvis, understand!" Granny told us sternly. We both nodded our heads reluctantly and head back towards the house.
"You first, Fathead" I said to Puck as I motioned towards the door. "Nope, ladies first, of course since there are no ladies here I guess Stink pots get to go first!" Puck hissed back. "Children, enough! Sabrina, you will go first, followed by Puck and I will go last!" Granny stated with authority in her voice. I sighed and did as she told me.
I held my breath as I stepped into the house and bolted up to my room. Once I got to my room I turned around quickly and slammed the door shut, preventing any 'bad' air from getting in.
I took a deep breath and went over to my desk to write a letter to Daphne. As I searched for something to write with, I suddenly remembered the pen I found on the floor this morning. I debated whether or not to ask Granny about it since it was just a pen and decided against it.
I pulled out the ballpoint pen from my pocket and brought it in front of me so I could see it. It's probably just one of Daphne's pen that she forgot here, I thought to myself. I shrugged and began to take the cap off the pen.
