Demi's POV
"You guys should try these." I said pointing at the stall.
"There corn that are ripped into individual pieces and are then dryly cooked. You could put some spices, but it is intense."
The boys got one for each while me, Rebecca and Bethany shared one.
Ater we were done, we went of to the mall. If you are thinking were Orset is then he is on my shoulder. Literally. He shrunk to the size of a cokroach.
After walking, what seemed like days we came to the castle gates. I looked up at the castle then to the gates. I noticed 1 of the elderly guards squinting his eyes at me. A second ago I tried to list the reasons on why then...... BAM!
I recognise him now. He used to work in the palace and was my grandma's personal guard. I put my hoodie up, more forward then it already was, and took a sharp turn to the left.
Rebecca noticed and called the others when I heard some people talking.
"Did you read what happened last night? Her highness, Queen Rosaline, escaped from her captive area." A girl with ginger hair whispered to 3 other woman.
My ears perked up as I sneaked a little closer to hear them.
"Oh my gosh. Really? It must have been terrrifying for her." Said a brunette.
"Jacob eavesdropped on the guards conversation and said that she stole a tape from the palace. Nobody knows what the tape had recorded in it, since it was hidden."
That is when Orset spoke up.
"Your highness, I think you should intertwine and try to find some information." He whispered in my ear. I am pretty sure even if he screamed nobody would be able to hear him. He sounded like a chipmunk.
I couldn't help but release a chuckle.
"Why are you laughing? I wasn't joking."
I just shaked my head and went back to them.
I told them about the converstion that I overheard and they were all in shock. No shocker in there.
Hehehehehe. (God I am such a loser).
Well, in that case I can just kill Remi since my grandma escaped and they don't know here she is.
We were half way through going back to the cottage before someone rudely interuppted.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I heard someone behind me scream and a bit of a burning smell.
I turned around and saw Carter on the ground and the others had turned red, while Orset was walking away with an accomplished look on his face.
I rolled my eyes.
"What did you do now Carter?" I asked, not bothering to care about his burned ass.
"Hey! I didn't do anything!" He screamed.
I gave him a 'everything is your fault' look.
"I may have been tyring to ride him and he burned me." He muttered while touching his butt.
I sighed and brought my hand to my forehead.
"It sounds like you want to have sexual intercourse with him." I muttered quietly.
"I heard that." Carter said then suddenly the boys started laughing and Bethany let out a giggle but then restrained herself.
I rolled my eyes for the 500th time today at the idiots behind me.
I walked ahead and slowed down at Rebecca's pace when Orset walked to my right.
"When did you become friends with the girl- Bethany, your highness?"
"Just a month ago. Why?"
"It seems like I have seen her before somewhere in Meridian."
I tensed up but Orset didn't notice.
"Oh..... do you remember where?" I asked as I crossed my fingers.
"Unfortunately, no."
"Oh.... um it's fine."
We finally reached to the cottage and walked in.
"Before you guys do some other shit, our priority changed. We first find my grandma then we take down Gavin."
"But where do you think she is?" Jason asked.
"Still thinking about that."
They all went upstairs while Bethany and I stayed down.
There was a silence between us before I spoke up.
"Gavin took the throne when I was 7."
Bethany looked at me with a curious.
"And yet I still don't remeber anything."
I let out a heavy sigh and walked upstairs before she stopped me.
"First your grandma. She must now what is going on. And she must be missing you a lot."
I gave her a small smile and she returned the gesture.
I entered my room and shut the door behind me.
Bethany's POV
I walked to my room before bumping into Blake.
"Sorry." I muttered and step aside for him to pass but he grabbed my arm and put me infront of him.
We made eye contact and stayed like that for a few seconds before he leaned in.
I quickly closed my eyes and his lips touched mine.
Soon, his arms were protectively around my waist and mine were on his chest.
We pulled away breathing and he kissed my forehead.
He unwrapped his arms from my waist.
Then I suddenly heard a door open and saw Alex and Demi existing the room.
Both of us looked behind me and saw they were standing staring at us.
"Sooooo.... what are you guys up to?" Alex asked smirking at us.
"Sorry boys, but girl talk first." Demi said before pulling my arm in to her room.
"You both had swollen lips. I wonder why." She said, hiding a smirk and pretended to think.
I brought my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around them.
"We may have kissed." I said quietly.
"So, how was it?"
She was incredibly calm unlike those best friends who squeal if I had my first kiss with my crush.
And I was soooo glad she wasn't like that.
"Well, it was my first kiss soo."
"How cute."
Just then we heard a knock on the door and it opened.
