As Yellow Diamond was about to destabilise Blue Diamond a blue wave engulfed the room. Yellow shivered and felt a harsh cold paralyze her mind. The pressure of the atmosphere was too dense.
Crack!
"Blue," Yellow trembled. Sharp, yellow shards came flying out in all directions. Yellow Pearl's face scrunched up into disbelief. Yellow Diamond had evaporated into empty space. All there was was thin yellow remaints of Diamond. All of Blue's dead comrades weighed against her mind and Blue froze up and looked at Yellow's flabergasted Pearl. Then, in fear of the guilt that plagued Yellow's shards Blue rushed over to her Palanquin, Blue Pearl appearing out of a different room.
"My Diamond?" her Pearl asked, confused by all of the commotion.
"Pearl, follow!" Blue called out to her. Her Pearl swiftly jumped over to her Diamond.
"Let's quickly get into a Sun Incenerator!" Blue called, as she ran past a frozen Holly Blue Agate.
"Blue Diamond?!" she gasped. Quickly, they rushed into a large ship and Blue Pearl quickly activated the nova thrusters and dashed out of Homeworld's atmosphere at hyper speed. As they flew through the black nothing of space, Blue Pearl looked over at the trauma-filled Diamond that stood before her. She moved her fringe out of the way, revealing one, light-blue eye.
"My Diamond-" Blue Pearl was about to say.
"Just...Call me Blue," Blue requested calmly.
"Very well, Blue. Why do you hurry in worry?" Blue Pearl asked nervously.
"I have betrayed the authority. I have shattered a Diamond," Blue gravely replied. Blue Pearl covered her eye with her long, blue fringe.
"I understand. How are you still coping?" Blue Pearl asked.
"I have found out that they are willing to kill their own kind, just because they turned out different," Blue explained as a thick tear escaped from her dull, blue eyes. "But I'm still mournful. Yellow still cared about Pink nevertheless. She was just fulfilling her duty." Her Pearl spotted another Sun Incenerator heading towards Earth.
"Who else would be incenerating stars without orders to do so?" Blue wondered curiosly glancing over at the large copy of their ship. "Wait...Are those off-colours? And a...pink...human?"
"Should I send help?" Blue's Pearl asked her.
"The best course of action would be to proceed. After all, who's side am I on now?" Blue answered. On the other Sun Incenerator, sat a group of four energetic gems and one pink, confident human.
"Should we land, now?" the Rhutile twins asked Lars of the Stars.
"You know it!" Lars happily replied. Rhodonite froze up in fear, staring at Blue Diamond.
"U-um...I think you've gotten your wish Flourite!" Rhodonite stuttered.
"Hmmmmm? Wwwwhaaaat wwwiiiissshhhh?" Flourite asked, puzzled.
"You know! To have a little chat with a Diamond!" Rhodonite quivered in fear. In a milisecond, Flourite crawled over to the edge of the ship to sew Blue Diamond.
"Should I copy in their ship number?" Blue Pearl asked her Diamond.
"Of course. Hopefully they will let us land on Earth with them; we don't know a thing about Earth's stability. If we land to quickly this ship could pierce through the Earth's core. In a hurry, Blue Pearl types in the number ingraved on the Emerald green ship.
Beep!
.............
"A message has appeared on the ship's board," Padparascha told them, a bit late on the whole notification.
"Blue Diamond says she wants to come abroad because she is now a fugitive on Homeworld," the Rhutile twins read aloud in synchronized unison.
"Well. Let's see what we can do!" Lars confidently told them.
"What?!" Rhodonite shrieked. "They're bound to shatter us!"
"Open the gateway to the ship, Rhutiles," Lars told them.
"Yes Lars!" the Rhutiles agreed to Rhodonite's dismay. A light green panel emerged from the innards of the ship and signalled the other ship it's clear.
"It has worked," Blue muttered. Blue's silent Pearl typed in the self-destruct code.
"We should leave now, before the ship explodes," Blue Pearl told Blue. They hurried over to ghe other ship and allowed for the other one to rupture into microscopic fragments.
"Welcome abroad! So, how did you do it?" Lars fearlessly asked.
"Do...Oh....I shattered a Diamond," Blue gravely told them, tears spiralling from her lifeless eyes.
"How?" Rhodonite coldly spat.
"I'd rather not go into detail," Blue timidly mumbled.
"Gem or not, anyone's welcome on Earth! So, when we land we'll give you a little tour on the planet!" Lars warmly told Blue.
"Really?" Blue shyly asked, a tear of hope gracefully exitted her now lighter and shinier eye.
"Wwwweeeee hhhhaaaavvvve'nnnnt beeeeennnn ooooomnnn Eeeeaaaarrrrth yyyeeet, sssssssooooooo yyyyoooouuuurrrr nnnooot aaaallllloooonnnne," explained Flourite very slowly.
"Anyone is welcome to join the Off-colours!" Lars happily stated.
