One day a girl named Alyssa was talking to her best friend, Hailey. She told Hailey that she had a crush on an attractive boy named Jaime. Two days passed and Alyssa decided she was going to ask Jaime out. When she was about to tell Hailey, she couldn't find her anywhere in the lunchroom. Destiny, another one of Alyssa's best friends, said that Hailey and Jaime were sitting together. Alyssa was confused and Destiny said Hailey asked him out, and he said yes. Alyssa started to cry and wondered, why would she do this to me. Alyssa started ignoring Hailey's calls and texts. At gym the next day, Alyssa was once again crying in the stall. When she finally got out Hailey was there waiting. She gave Alyssa a huge hug and said sorry. Alyssa pretended to forgive her. She went to the guidance counselor with Destiny and explained what happened. But everyone was against her! Later on, Alyssa ended up just dealing with it. She realized that friends are way more important than dumb boys. Hailey and Alyssa are best friends to this day, and vowed never to let boys get between them! Even though Hailey and Jaime broke up, Alyssa and Hailey are still as close as ever!
