No One Like Us (A Theyna Fanfic)

Chapter Nine

“Ugh, where is she.” Thalia said to herself as she sat at a small table in the corner of a café at the end of town, where Reyna and Thalia were supposed to meet.
As soon as Thalia said that Reyna came through the door. Reyna was wearing a long yellow sun dress, gorgeous black flats, and her hair was in a braid with a TigerLily flower tucked behind her ear. Thalia sat there jaw-dropped, she couldn't help but stare, she thought Reyna looked absolutely beautiful.
As soon as Reyna noticed Thalia she walked up and sat down in the chair at the opposite end of the table.

“Hi.” Reyna said shyly
Thalia realized she was staring and  shook her head.
“Hi! I look beautiful, you look awful, I MEAn, you look awful beautiful is me, I mean...” Thalia stopped and took a deep breath “Hi, you look beautiful, I look awful. I didn't know we were dressing up.”
Reyna laughed “We weren't, Piper made me wear this.”
“Oh, well you look amazing. Did you want any coffee? My treat!” Said Thalia smiling.
“No thank you, I don't drink coffee. Do they have any hot chocolate here? I'd love some of that.” said Reyna
“I'll go check.” said Thalia as she got out of her chair and walked up to the front desk.

Reyna was sweating like a pig, she didn't know what to do. She'd never been on a date before. Why couldn't she be one of those people who'd met there soulmate at age seven! Things would be so much easier right now.
Reyna's thoughts were interrupted

“Okay one hot chocolate” said Thalia setting it down in front of Reyna.
“O-oh thanks.” said Reyna
“You okay Rain?” asked Thalia
“Dont call me that.” said Reyna looking down
“I'll call you what I want, now what's wrong?” asked Thalia
Reyna rolled her eyes and smirked “I don't know how to do this, I mean of course I've never dated because obviously you can only date ur soulmate but I don't know anything about dating at all. I mean what do i-”

Reyna stopped because Thalia interrupted by putting both of their hands together

“Look, don't be nervous” said Thalia looking Reyna in the eye “I don't know what I'm doing either, I'm sweating like crazy and I'm constantly worrying about saying the wrong thing, or doing the wrong thing, hell I practically shit my pants when you walked through the door because you look so fucking beautiful right now-” Thalia stopped to take a breath. She noticed Reyna was blushing “but, I just tell myself its gonna be okay, because I know it is. You are my soulmate Reyna, no one else. I could screw up a thousand times a day and I just know you'd understand because that's what soulmates do. They are they're for eachother.” Thalia said still looking Reyna in the eyes.
She noticed Reyna was staring at her.
“And I hope we are there for eachother becaus-” Thalia was interrupted by Reyna who quickly got out of her chair, pulled Thalia up and kissed her, smack on the lips.
Thalia froze, she was not expecting that. Thalia wrapped her arms around Reyna and kissed back.
They soon pulled away.

“Sorry” said Reyna smiling and blushing
“it's okay, do that any time you'd like” Thalia laughed.
Reyna chuckles
“Um, I'm gonna go get more coffee, okay?” said Thalia.
“Yea okay” said Reyna as she sat back down.

They sat there almost the whole day laughing and talking until the café closed at eleven and Thalia walked Reyna home.

“Call me soon, yea?” said Reyna blushing as soon as they got to Reyna's house
“Yea” said Thalia.
Reyna leaned down and kissed Thalia once more before running into her apartment building.
“Bye Reyna” said Thalia smiling as she turned around and made her way down the empty street in the night.
