The next thing she remembered was waking up in a hospital bed.  Her old carer from the care home she used to live in sat beside on the plastic chair. She was called by the hospital, informing her about Minsun's situation since she was the only 'family' she had.

Her carer came with a request for Minsun. She wanted to put her under rehab for the sake of herself and the baby she came to learn about. Minsun instantly refused especially since the carer wanted to use her own money and not the care home that Minsun no longer lived in. She didn't want to burden someone else for her own carelessness.

"Minsun, I'm worried for you. You can't be like this when you will become a mother soon. Please allow me to do this one last thing for you."

"It's pointless," she replied, "I don't want to get better and I don't want this baby. So it will just be a waste of your money."

"This is your chance to give this baby the parental love you always wanted," said the carer, "Have you never thought of that?"

Truthfully speaking, Minsun was ashamed to admit that the thought had never occured to her. She was shocked at herself for forgetting all those years she questioned her self-worth when her classmates teased her for being parentless.

After more pondering, Minsun agreed to rehabilitation. She was kicked out of the university and so stayed in the rehab centre for the duration of her pregnancy.

Her carer was there, holding her hand as she gave birth to an eight month old premature baby. She had desperately wished that Yoongi was there instead because he had always been there for her.

When Minsun held her baby, it was the first time she genuinely felt a sense of happiness in months since he had left her. What surprised her the most was the baby girl's eyes, thry were identical to Yoongi's. So when she looked into her eyes, it gave her the feeling that she was looking at him.

With the money he had left her with, she bought herself and her baby girl a tiny rooftop apartment. It was just right for the two of them.

Chung Minsun was ready to start a new life, she was ready to become a better person. She was only doing this for Yoongi and her baby, Chung Mi-Ra.

She was determined to fill Mi-Ra with love that she had never received. She wanted to be there to watch her baby say her first word, take her first step and take her to school. She wanted Mi-Ra to know about her amazing father and know how much he would've loved her.

Parenting was harder than she thought. No amount of research she had done beforehand prepared her for the sheer amount of work she had to put into caring for one tiny infant. After spending an hour of walking around the tiny room, she finally managed to put Mi-ra to sleep.

She laid the baby on her mattress and walked a few steps into the kitchen that was in the same room. She poured herself a glass of cold water and downed it within seconds.

"How refreshing," she whispered, happily sighing with relief as she wiped her mouth. She crouched down to lie on the mattress that was on the floor.

Suddenly a yelp escaped her mouth when the door burst open with incredible force. It swung in and slammed against the wall, almost breaking the door off its hinges.

Two masked men in all black ran straight towards her. Minsun put one hand behind the baby but before she could do the same with the other, both her arms were snatched by the men.

"LET ME GO!"

Her screams caused Mi-ra to finally wake up and cry. The men didn't listen to her as they dragged her off the mattress and pinned her against the wall. She tried to kick them with her bare feet.

She let out another scream when they mercilessly stepped down on her legs. She then tried to bite their arm as well as violently thrash her body around. They were much bigger and stronger than her but she had to do whatever it took. Her number one priority was to protect Mi-Ra who was still crying.

One of them finally had enough and striked his gloved hand across her face, almost snapping her neck to the side. They tightly taped her mouth and tied her limbs, giving her no way to free herself. Their knots around her wrists and legs were skilful and experienced.

One more figure stepped into the apartment, he was much different to the other two who looked almost identical in their matching attire.

This man was dressed in an all black satin suit, that sat on his lanky body. Yet he still managed to have a powerful aura that spread anxiety through Minsun. She couldn't quite see his face in the darkness but as he made his way closer towards her, she noticed an eerie grin plastered across his face.

In his hand he held a cigarette lighter which he constantly flicked the lid off and on. The sound of the lid alongsisde his footsteps pressing against the creaking wooden floor was a frightening combination.

Once he stood right in front of her, his pointy shoes almost touching her face that laid against the floor, he crouched down. With his leather gloved hand, he gently careesed her cheeks. She flinched at his touch, trying her best to crawl herself further away from him. He laughed at her weak attempt. The two men besides her stayed silent.

She looked up at him but that was a terrible decision because even though she averted her gaze away from him the second after, his monstrous appearance stayed vivid in her mind.

One of his eyes was the brightest shade of blue whilst the other was brown. From the bottom of his blue eye was a deep scar that ran down in jagged lines before meeting the corner of his mouth.

Everytime he smiled and laughed that terrible cackle, his scar contorted in the most painful way but it didn't seem to affect him at all. He was the epitome of evil.

"Chung Minsun," he spoke, "That must be you, right?"
