Chapter 17

'' Here you go,'' says Adam handing me a small red lacy cloth box.

''You didn't have to get me anything,'' I mumble taking the box.

I open it to see a pretty sliver band ring with a matching angel wings.

I gasp in shock seeing the pretty ring:

'' Adam it's pretty,'' I mumble.

He smiles as he take the ring out the box and slip it on my index right finger.

Today was my day, yes my birthday.

It was Tuesday and I was turning 18 and it was in the morning as Adam and I sat in his car park in the school parking lot.

'' So you love the ring,'' he ask staring at me with his dreamy dark eyes.

I smile and nod,'' Yeah''.

He laughs and grip his hands on my cheeks bringing my head toward his.

''Awesome,'' he mumbles before capturing his warm lips against mine.

I hungryly force my lips harder against his.

I loop my arm around his neck as I press myself against him.

'' The youg lovebirds,'' saya female voice as I heard a tapping sound on the car window.

Adam pulled away climbing out the car.

I sighed and place the red box in my black like small back pack climbing out the car to get hugs from my bestfriends Kiki with her sort punk blond hair. And Raven with her brown hair.

'' It's your brithday!It's Your Brithday,'' Screams Kiki before handing me a middle size blue gift wrap box.

'' This from me,'' Raven says handing me a card with a pink cake on it.

I open the card to see a gift card to American Eagel for $30.

'' Thanks,'' I said with a grin and opened Kiki gift which turned out to be a box filled with a photobook,a digonal blue camera.

'' The camera is for you to take happy photos to last a life time,'' Kiki says.

I pull both of them into another hug.

'' Why didn't I get a hug,'' mumbles Adam leaning against the car.

I laugh as I palce my new gifts into Adam car before pulling him into a long lingering kiss on the lips.

The school bells ring as I pulled away from him and grin,'' Are you happy now.''

He smriks,''Hell yes.''

He grab my hand as we walk toward class.

It was lunch time and I got to say it been a great brithday so far.

I flip my wavy brown hair over my shoulder.

''You guys are awsome.''

Raven and Kiki laugh and grab a vanilla cupcake from off the tray which they made for me.

'' Happy birthday cuz,'' says Bryn walking over to our table taking a cupcake and handing me a birthdaycard.

I said thank you and grab Adam hand which he was sitting next me when she left.

'' Happy B-day Bitch-slut,'' Kris says walking pass are table fipping herblond hiar.

I bit my lip and didn't say anything.

'' I'm going to the bathroom,''I said standing up fixing my lacy pruple tanktop and my skinny jeans.

'' Want us to go with you,'' ask Raven about to get up.

'' No I be fine.''

I quickly kiss Adam and sadly smile at him.

'' I be back.''

He stares atme but nodded.

I lqiuckly walk out the lunch room but glance back at Kris laughing it up with my old cheerleading freinds; she stole my life three years ago.

I storm into the bathroom as I wip away few tears out my eyes; I didn't see Chase at all today.

I groan,why was I'm even thinking about that jerk well he kind of turned into my best friend; kind of.

I exit out the bathroom and gasp in shock when someone grab my hand.

'' Bria I got to tell you something,'' says a smooth voice.

''What,'' I says turning to face omg.....it was Chase.

'' I'm so sorry, Bria look I care for you,'' He pleads as I stare deeply into his blue eyes.

'' Huh,'' I ask.

'' Listen Bria I love you so deeply, I'm sorry I wanted so long to tell you,'' He crys.

'' Chase I'm dating Adam,'' I mumble

He grab the back of my neck slightly and bring me toward me.

'' I don't give a damn about anyone but you and I,'' he said.

'' Cha----as----,'' He cut me off by capturing his lips agianst mine for along moment.

I fet the familar home feeling from him and I couldn't help myself. I kiss him back.

'' Why,'' I heard that deep voice.

I pulled away from Chase and turn to face Adam.

My eyes widen,'' Adam I---.''

He shakes his head and ran off up the hallway.

I started to go after rhim but Chase grab my arm.

'' Let him be,'' Chase says.

I stare up into his eyes,'' I love you butI my care for him is stronger,'' I said.

'' What are saying,'' he ask.

A sad smile played on my lips.

'' I don't know anymore,'' I mumble and ran away from him and out the school.

I ran home as I felt tears drip out my eyes.

My heart was racing fast. I couldn't think.

I fall down onto the floor in the door entrance.

'' I don't get this at all,'' I cried.
