Two weeks later, and J and i have happily been giving Gotham City a headache together. Lately we've crashed billionaire's parties, trashing fancy casinos, and last week we dropped a whole lot of laughing gas on this huge city parade thing.
Admittedly it's been lots of fun, especially since I had J by my side. Though at the moment he's all locked up in his office, and hasn't come out all day. I've been absolutely bored out of my mind.
I would've gone to hang with the girls, but Pam said she had important stuff she had to do today, and Selina's got herself locked up in Arkham. I mean I'd love to break her out, but I have no idea how.
I'm still learning with all this stuff, and I'd probably end up being caught and locked up there myself. And I don't think that would be fun at all. I've contemplated on whether I could go blow something up, you know just for fun, but again I'm still learning at all this and I don't want to risk getting sent to Arkham. At least if I have J with me there'd be a much smaller chance of failing.
I lay comfortably on the couch with the hyenas quietly snoring at my feet, wishing I had something to do. Feeling kinda sleepy I slowly close my eyes, but then I hear footsteps coming towards me. I open my eyes again to see J crouched down next to me, his face inches away from mine.
"Hi princess." He sighs as he brushes a bit of hair out of my face.
Yes! Finally! No more boredom! As I smiled sweetly at him he leaned forward and gently kissed my lips with his soft ones. I slowly sat up and leaned onto my knees so that we are still close to each other. I always get this weird feeling when I'm close to him.
"Hi ya Mistah J." I say with a cheeky grin.
"What's my baby been up to? Surely some sort of chaos, hmm?" He sat down next to me, then lifted me up to sit on his lap.
"Actually, no. I was waiting for you."
"Well I'm going to be busy all day, so don't bother waiting for me." He sighed as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Well what am I supposed to do?"
"I don't know, go out and find a nice dress to wear for when I take you out to dinner tonight." He whispered softly into my ear.
Oh I like the sounds of this. Could he mean a date? I can't imagine the Joker being into that sort of stuff, but hey I'm not complaining. I'm all up for a date.
"So... like a date?" I turned my head to look at him with a slight raised eyebrow.
"Yes princess, I'm asking you out on a date." He answered with an evil grin.
With the look on his face, I'm guessing this isn't going to be the 'romantic candlelight' sort of date. More so like a 'blow up the city' sort of date. But that doesn't bother me really, though personally I'd prefer option A.
"Well in that case I'll go find myself something to wear." With that I got off his lap and headed towards the front door, gun on my holster and hyenas at my feet.
"Haylee." I heard him call behind me, making me turn to look at him.
"I love you." He smiled with a wink.
Before leaving i quickly send him a sweet smile. I asked some of the goons to drive me to the mall, since I don't have a ride yet myself. I should probably do that, maybe I should get a motorbike? Yes, I'll get a bike, but not today.
