A/N: The picture above is Ian.

Finn's P.O.V.

I stared at the fluffy clouds as we traveled across them. 20 more minutes until I would land. 40 more minutes until I was in Kernington. And I still had no place to live.

--- Yesterday ---

"Thank you!" I said to the old cab driver as I got out and slammed the door. He grunted in response and drove off. I turned and sighed, staring at the spot where I had seen Ian and the girl. Begrudgingly, I slowly walked up to my front door, my feet dragging. Suddenly was filled with rage. I stormed in the front door, making a point to slam it behind me. Ian almost immediately ran downstairs.

"Hey Honey! How was your day?" He asked. I tried to resist slapping him, honestly, I did. But, with or without my consent, my hand flew to his cheek, leaving a bright red mark. His fake smile instantly turned to a scowl.

"What the hell was that for?" Ian asked, anger filling his voice.

"That was for the ugly redhead I saw you with on the porch!" I yelled into his face. After my accusations, his scowl only turned deeper.

"I don't know what you saw, but I wasn't with anyone! I love you! Why on earth would I do that?!" Ian asked, his voice softening. My heart wanted to run to him and apologise, but I knew what I saw. That's when I remembered I had a picture of my phone. I quickly swiped to the picture.

"This is what I'm talking about!" I screamed into his face. I was responded with silence. It was silent for about 3 minutes when he broke the silence with a deep chuckle which soon turned into a full on laugh. Confused, I frowned, and the tears started pouring. This only made Ian laugh harder.

"Do you even love me?" I screamed at him, hiccuping through the tears. I felt empty. Like half of me had been taken away. Ian's laughed stopped and turned to a look that said "seriously?"

"Of course not!" He said, starting to laugh again. The tears started pouring faster.

"Who would love you?! Your so.... gross!" He said, backing away as if I would "infect" him.

"I loved you!" I yelled. Everything was crumbling. My world.... Crumbling. Ian laughed at my remark.

"Get.... Out." I said to him through gritted teeth.

"Gladly. Goodbye forever, honey." He said sarcastically, knowing it would hurt me more. Then he tuned on his heel and walked out the front door, blowing a kiss towards me.

--- 30 minutes later ---

I finished the pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, only to decide that I have had enough. I wasn't going to let this guy get to me. Not again. So I got up, and I packed my stuff. I said goodbye to the few friends I had, and I left.

--- Back to the Present ---

"Thank you for flying with Delta Airlines, if there is anything we can do for you just let us know. And welcome to Oregon." One of the pilots said cheerfully.

I took a deep breath, and stood up and got my luggage before anyone else around me could. I was silently waiting in line when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I asked, answering the call.

"Hi, sorry, I must have the wrong number." She said.

"Ah, well, who are you looking for?" I asked, cutting in before she could hang up.

"Finley James?" The woman said, hesitant.

"That's me!" I said. I heard a slight gasp and then some light whispering that I couldn't make out.

"Are you in Kernington?" She asked.

"Not quite yet, I'm still on the plane, but I'll be there in 20 minutes." I said.

"Oh. Okay! We'll have someone ready to help you find where you'll be staying once you get here." She said. I was immediately confused, as I haven't called yet to reserve a spot to stay.

"But, I haven't reserved-"

"Have a good day!" The woman said quickly, purposely cutting me off and hanging up.

How odd. I havn't even looked at any places yet, much less reserved one. Well, atleast I had a place to stay, I guess. I just hope this place isn't sketchy.

--- 20 Minutes Later ---

"Thanks!" I said to the uber driver.

"No problem, hun!" The chirpy woman said to me. I smiled and shut the door, now turning to face the now town I would be staying in. The main part of the town was on the outer rim of a roundabout, except the roundabout only had two roads, one where I was, and one directly across from me.

The shops ranged from a grocery store to a clothes shop to a butchery. I didn't plan to go into the butchery any time soon. I was still looking at the shops, so I didn't notice when a woman of my age in a frilly dress with dark brown hair came up to me.

"Hello! You must be Finley." She said, sticking out a hand. "I am Taylor Degrongta."

"Hi. Nice to meet you, Taylor." I said, shaking her hand.

"Now, you are staying in the old brown bear cabin. You have two other people that stay by you. One, a young girl of your age named Aleana and the other an older woman named Deborah." Taylor said with a smile. I smiled back, only to be interrupted by a car door slam.

"Finley Georgie James!" A voice yelled. A very familiar voice. Chills went down my spine. How did he get here? Why was he here? He had hurt me. Did he come all this way to apologise? So many questions. But I would have to face him anyways.

So I slowly turned and faced the one man who had let me down the most. My dad.
