Author's Note: Okay so this a spur of the moment kind of thing.... It was around twelve at night while watching Frozen (figures huh?) when I got the idea that what if Jack Frost really was with Elsa the entire time? With a little help with my little sister (not much help cause she was half asleep) and some ideas and help from the internet, I decided why not give it a shot? So if this is not so good, then hey at least I'm trying right? Well here goes. Hope you enjoy it!
Pitch's Point of View
Those fools! I thought as I kept running from my own nightmares. I can create a portal to where ever I want, when ever I want! I can travel through time just long enough to regain my strength!
I stumbled forward, the nightmares were catching up. I stopped running. Panting, I held out my hand. I had to create a portal now, before I loose enough of my strength. I thrust my hand forward and concentrated in on an early point in history. I tried to find a connection to a point in history when there was fear. Soon I felt a whisper of my power back. It was faint but still strong. The trotting sound of the mares were getting stronger. I focused all of my remaining energy to my hands and concentrated on that feeling of fear. A black burst of energy came out from my fingertips and soon a swirling vortex stood weakly in front of me. I looked back and saw the horses catching up rapidly.
I had no choice if I wanted to survive. I jumped through.
I stumbled through the portal on the other side and fell back onto the ground. I turned my head around just in time to see the vortex snap shut like a rubber band. With my chest heaving, I looked at my surroundings. In a distance to my right, there was civilization. It seemed to be a small kingdom. A stone castle in the middle of the gulf with a village surrounding it. It was around midday. People were bustling about. Going into shops, baking and making sleighs and such. People seemed to be happy. Almost too happy. I didn't like it. Why did the vortex take me here? Where the supposed strong fear I can regain my strength from? I didn't see it anywhere.
Then I looked again at the castle. Something seemed off about it. I slowly got to my feet, holding my stomach and squinted at the castle. The gate is closed. The windows were shut tight. Suddenly, I understood. When a King or Queen close the castle from the rest of the people, that means they're hiding something from them. And hiding something from your own people means you're afraid they'll discover what it is. There is fear of course still in the village, but not as much fear inside the castle. If I feed off the fear in the village, it'll take me centuries to gain full strength. But, if I go to the castle I just might be able to regain power a little bit faster. I laughed at how I escaped those wretched Guardians once more and how I'll easy to regain my strength with no one stopping me. Jack hasn't even been made a Guardian yet! And then I slowly started walking towards the castle.
A/N: So yea. This starts off where the Rise of the Guardians left off. Pitch running away from his own fears and Jack officially becoming a Guardian. And I think you guys know where the Frozen part starts at. If you do, fantastic! If you don't well it starts a few years (about two) after the accident with Anna. Any who, how'd you like it? Let me know what I have to improve on or add to. Thanks for reading this little bit! And if you happen to save it, thank you for giving my story a chance! I hope I won't disappoint! I'll try to update every other week, just to see if people will read this. Thank you and until next time, goodbye!
