I sunk my head into my pillow in defeat and pulled out my small headphones and lay there listening to whatever I had downloaded previously. It consisted of The 1975 that I adored with the majority of my heart. For the first time in months I actually felt like shit , not being able to do one of the things that I loved the most. So I was stuck with books for a while , I was already halfway through 'The fault in our stars' and I loved John Greens books more than anything , they are just so easy to read but the main reason I read the fault in our stars is to see how it ended.

I sat up and walked over to my little dressing table and picked up the book I started at therapy which made me think of that mysterious character who followed me out and actually talked to me which isn't normal for a person of his type.

You could tell he had something about him , good or bad , it was there. For someone who had that many tattoos and a few piercings he seemed considerably nice or he's just talking to ne because no one else will. It was weird, well , more confusing than weird but ge fascinates me for some reason which I have never felt before.

He probably couldn't care less about me. He's probably out at house parties getting wasted or something like that. There was so much I had never done with my life and never will do.

"Grace." I heard a knock on the door and went and opened it to find my 4 year old sister."I've got a surprise for you!" she said pulling be by my hand along the hall and down the stairs and out onto the patio.

I looked around and then out of the corner of my eye I saw this strange person stood in my garden looking out over the field with his back to me.My sister crept away and ran inside and was probably watching from the window. I walked closer to realise who it was.

" Oh for gods sake Michael , stop being so dramatic!" I said running up to hug him. He was the one person I had left that I could tell anything to.

"Hey !" He said sounding surprised "Look at you! I haven't seen you in years!" He said hugging me again.

I was so happy just to see him standing in front of me. We had been friends for as long as I can remember. He used to live next door until he moved away to Seattle for some kind of university so I was left for about three years until he came back.

"Seems like your coping well with it." He said to me starting to walk over to the bench by the pond , so I followed him curiously wanting to see what he was trying to say.

He looked at me with his so called Voldemort face which had always made me laugh.

"Oh , just get to the point!" I said trying to control my laughter.

"Well , I'm moving in about a mile away from here! " He said smiling seeming pretty proud of himself for announcing it in the way he did.I couldn't be happier that he was back.
