Tuesday isn't much different. I start the day with English instead of Geography. I chat with Connor and Lucy, them still playfully teasing me over Brad and the Jacket. The morning continues on into Physics with Brad and Tristan, which is then followed by Lunch.
All three of us make our way over to the canteen and sit at the usual group table. I sit between Lucy and Connor and cross my legs comfortably.
"How was Physics?" Lucy asks.
"Dull, boring," I reply. I pull out a packet of salt and vinegar crisps and a sandwich from my bag and start to eat my lunch.
I munch away as the others chat between their mouthfuls of food. God, I'm so hungry. After finishing my lunch, I sneak some of Lucy's crisps. She spots me theiving and hands me the bag.
"Thank yooou," I respond to her grinning.
She nods her head and starts eating a chocolate biscuit instead.
"So," James says, breaking my train of thought. "Are you two coming to our band practice again, after school today?"
I enthusiastically nod my head, "Yep, of course, I really like watching you guys practice."
"I can't, sorry." Lucy answers.
I look at her confused. "Oh, why?"
"Because I'm, err, meeting someone."
"Meeting someone?" I question. "Is it a date!"
She cringes slightly at my fanaticalness and quietly says, "Yes, it's a date."
I squeal and hug her; the others thrown by my excitement. "Oh, my little Lucy, who are they? Are they cute? Of course they're cute you're going on a date with them." I stop and breathe, the outburst too much.
"Ha um," Lucy nervously laughs. "It's this girl who's in my Biology class, I asked her if she wanted to go to The Coach House today after school and she said yes." She grins at me clearly excited for the plans ahead.
"Girl?" Tristan asks. All the boys look at Lucy confused.
"Yep. A girl." She returns.
The boys all shrug and nod.
"Fair enough." James comments. "So Emily, you still coming to practice?"
"Yep, 100 percent."

Lucy and I gossip the whole way through Maths. She tells me all about this girl; who I find out is called Mia. It turns out Lucy has had a crush on her since just after I started, making it a month of pinning without making a move.
Lucy finally plucked up the courage to ask her out because after our 'incident' she realised that it's better to attempt it now then hold on and never get anything. By the end of the lesson, I think Miss Murphy got sick and tired of us not answering the questions.
Chemistry wasn't as interesting. Mr Hanson tried to make it as engaging as possible but there is only so much interest I can give to limestone for an hour.
Once it ends, Brad, Tristan and I head on over to the Art's Hall. We climb the flights of stairs, for the sixth time in the past three weeks, up to the music rooms.
The door swings open and we see James and Connor; tuning their instruments. I sit down on the floor, close to the door so I'm out of the way.
The boys continue to tune and set up whilst I absent-mindedly twirl my hair. It isn't as fun waiting without Lucy to talk to. I rest my head against the wall.
Brad coughs and I open my eyes to see them ready to begin. I smile.
They launch straight into Wildheart. I hum along to the now very familiar tune and even quietly sing along with Brad's voice. I watch each of them from time to time. Following each of their patterns and mannerisms as they continue through their already configured setlist.
They stop on their fourth song, taking a quick break. I praise them for their already fantastic performance and each of them thanks me.
Connor returns from getting a drink and Brad stops them before they begin again.
"Um, guys, I wrote this song a few days ago and I thought that we could possibly have a go at it." He asks.
They agree, and after half an hour of learning and practising, they attempt the song. I tap my fingers on my crossed legs to the beat of the song. I nod my head and grin at their amazing first try of the new melody.
The first verse spills into the chorus. Brad looks at me, eyes locked on my face as he sings the lyrics,
Wake up in the morning with the sunlight in my eyes,
I gaze back at him, smiling. He grins back as he continues to sing.
No, my head don't feel so bright, what the hell happened last night?
Brad winks at me. Did that mean something? Were the lyrics suggesting or referring to me or him? I watch him confused as he keeps singing the song.
Think I might have kissed someone.
He smirks at me. This song is definitely about me or him or me in some way. Maybe it's about the party at the weekend but that was only two days ago; he couldn't have written a song that fast. Could he?
As the song continues through another verse I ponder over each of the words and their possible meaning. Every one amounting to everything and nothing at the same time.
This kiss could be our last,
The lyric makes me blush. Is this about me and Lucy or him and Sara. I try to forget the narrative and rather focus my attention on the music: the notes.

We leave the practise room once the song finishes. Brad, Tristan and I get on the bus, making our way home. Tristan gets off after a couple of stops and I take this as an opportunity to ask Brad about the song.
"Brad, that new song you did today, what was the inspiration behind it? Like what was its meaning?"
"Err well," he stutters. "It was kind of about the party."
I nod my head but ask, "I'd sort of guessed that but who was... who was all the 'kissing' about?"
"Oh." Brad flushes, face turning red. "I had, um, I had written it from your perspective of the night."
I look at him, my head tilted to the side in confusion.
"Well, the chorus mostly. You woke up hungover, didn't you, you had fun with Lucy and the boys, dancing and singing, and you kissed someone." He offers.
"I guess but, it's just an odd thing to write about," I reply. "I'm flattered though, The Vamps singing a song about my drunken adventures."I giggle.
Brad smiles at me and I smile back. His eyes observing every inch of my face, quivering on my eyes and lips. He opens his mouth to speak but I jump up.
"This is my stop!" I squeak as I hurriedly make my way down the bus before we pass my stop. I wave towards Brad. "Bye Brad, see you tomorrow."
"Bye Em." He says as he waves back.
