" Do you have a name?" asked the blonde haired mediwitch.
Harry glanced at Ginny, and smiled. She was sat in a hospitol bed at St. Mungos, and in her arms lay a black haired, brown eyed, one day old baby boy.
"James" said Ginny, looking down at the sleeping baby. "After his grandfather." The mediwitch wrote it on the form.
"You are now officially discharged, and free to go home." She announced.
As soon as she had gone Harry turned and looked at Ginny, a shocked expression on his face.
"You dont have to do that Gin, honestly, pick one of the boys names you like, "What about Fred?"
Harry and Ginny had decided that if the baby was a boy, he would be called Fred Sirius, a compramise, to honour a special person to each of them. But of course he wanted to name him James, James Potter, was name that was honoured and respected by the wizarding world, it deserved another chance.
When Harry looked up again he saw that Ginny was crying.
"Honestly Ginny." He said gently, "Call him whatever, I will love him no matter what, You like the name Griffin, you know like Gryffindor, Ron would think that was cool. or Enzo, Enzo Potter is nice or maybe..."
"HARRY STOP!" Ginny laughed. "His name is James, James Sirius Potter." She laughed again softly, lovingly stroking the sleeping babies chubby cheek.
" But Fred?"
"Harry, I was crying because I realised something, Fred would be compleatly honoured to have a nephew named after him, But I know that he would be even more thrilled and honoured to have a nephew named after the great Prongs himself !"
Harry locked eyes with Ginny, She was right, and he had never felt happier than in that moment.
"Plus" Ginny said kissing the babys soft head of messy black hair, "This one looks like he's gonna cause some mischief !!!"
Harry put his arm around Ginny and squezzed them both tight. Then they laughed and laughed, Well until the mediwitch came back to tell them that they really did have to leave now...
