There sits a little oak tree, still young and waiting to grow. But this is not where the story begins but, where it ends. You see all great books have a beginning and an end. But who's to say where it leads. In fact we will start with a book. A dusty book in a dusty library.
Now in a little village called Hemly sat a library. Now what made this so different was no one could read, well no one except Emily. Now Emily was a special girl, her imagination could take her on adventures far and wide from fighting dragons to riding a motorbike on a rainbow. Emily's father loved her for this and would join in on these stories.
One day at the library, Emily walked in as she usually would greeting the old librarian with a firm look and ditsy smile. The librarian sat in a great dust chair behind a counter. Nothing had been touched in a long time as books piled each side. "Good morning" said the librarian grinning charmly from cheek to cheek. "Have you got any new adventures?" Emily smiled sweetly "Why yes I do. I've been fighting an alien with nothing but my sword" Emily laughed and asked. "Have you got any new books for me". The librarian leaned back in his dusty chair and pondered for a few before raising his eyebrow and bellowing "Of course. Follow me child" the librarian got off his chair and slowly walked around the counter and away from Emily towards the back of the library. Emily skipped behind following closely. At the back of the old dusty library sat a little oak door. The librarian smiled at Emily as his hands reach around his neck and tugged at a string. On the end of the string was an old silver key. The librarian looked at Emily and waved the key infront of her. Emily opened her hand expectantly to receive the key. The librarian handed the key and started to walk away. "Where are you going?" shouted Emily as she watched the librarian shuffle away. "On an adventure of my own" bellowed the librarian who swiftly turned the corner of a dusty old bookshelf.
Emily looked back at her hand that held the key then slowly towards the door she pushed forward. Emily put the key towards the door but suddenly stopped. "Well this is rather silly, there is no key hole" Emily placed her hands on her hips as she scoured the door. A faint chuckle could be heard behind her. Emily whisked her head back to see who it was, but no one was there. Emily looked back at the door and noticed it was slightly ajar. Curiosity overtook Emily as she slowly opened the door.
