A soft breeze brushes across the back of my neck and a small shiver travels down the length of my spine. Sleep still fogs my brain, and fights with my consciousness to keep me under its spell. But another breeze brushes across my skin, trailing goosebumps in its wake. I lift my hand to cover my skin, but instead I find the warm face of my boyfriend. My heart instantly grows warm, and the last of my weariness drains from me.
Opening my eyes, I flip onto my back and look up into Freddy's face. "Morning." I whisper, giving him the smallest of smiles.
"Morning my beauty." He sighs, pressing a gentle kiss on my nose. So that's what the breeze was, it was his kisses, not the air conditioning. My smile grows and I pull him down to me, our lips meeting in the middle. It's short and sweet, but it's my entire world. Freddy is my entire world.
I slowly snake my arms around his neck. Freddy's eyes stay trained on mine. "Waking up next you, is something I definitely want to get used to." I tell him honestly. Freddy grins down at me his eyes searching mine.
"I feel the same way, except maybe we could scratch the morning breath?" I scoff at him, giving him a little love tap of the side of his head. "Just kidding." He smirks, burrowing his head in my shoulder. I giggle softly. This is why I love him, he makes sure that I always have a smile on my face. And in return, I give him my heart and warmth.
I twirl his hair around my finger, and pull on it slightly before running my hand down his back. The muscles tighten and relax with my touch, and I can feel Freddy's breath turn into slow pants on my neck.
"Mhm. That feels nice." He breaths, placing a gentle kiss on my neck. A smile forms on my lips and I tilt my head silently to give him more access. He laughs appreciatively and bites down softly, nipping the sensitive skin. It'll leave a mark, but not one that will be dark enough or last long enough for anyone to notice.
Freddy's hand slips under under my shirt, well technically his shirt, and grabs at my skin. Tugging it gently. A shaky moan leaves my throat, and my back arches.
"Oh god." Freddy hisses, pulling back from me. "The things you do to me woman." My eyes find his, and I stare up at him lovingly.
"Why did you stop?" The words leave my lips breathlessly, as I try and pull him back down to me. But he doesn't move.
"My mom wants my help with painting her sewing studio today at eleven remember?" Freddy asks me, smirking down at me. I shake my head and he laughs.
"I forgot."
"Of course you did. Come on let's go get dressed." His strong hand grips my waist and hoists me out of the warm sheets and into the real world. And almost immediately his eyes travel up and down my body. I'm wearing his shirt and nothing else. A smirk slowly spreads across my face and I take a few steps back from him, over to my closet.
"Goodness sake Summer." Freddys curses, eyes still trained on me. "I think I'm going to need a shower." And with that he closes the bathroom door, locking it behind him. Cancelling any of my plans of following him.
