After watching the rest of the team training during first period, I waited with Callum outside the changing block for Brooklyn and Toby to meet us so that we could go to second period. Which happened to be maths.
"I always thought it was girls who spent years changing" Callum joked.
"Yeah. I thought the same thing" I replied.
We had spent the last hour chatting on the sidelines watching the rest of the team play. I felt like I knew him so much more now and he was definitely someone I wanted to be friends with. I couldn't help but notice that he had seemed a little quiet though when we had spoken of Martha however...
My thoughts were interrupted as Brooklyn and Toby emerged from the changing block singing at the top of their voices.
"Crikey boys.. is there any need for so much noise?" I asked, trying to stifle my laughter.
"Of course there is" laughed Toby, "It's football!"
Toby put one arm over my shoulder and the other over Callum's. Brooklyn put his arm over my other shoulder and together the four of us walked to class.
