3 Years Later

I sat bedside to my father as he gave out orders Beta Frank and his son Max. These past 3 years have been hell being at war with Chase. Both of our families have suffered great losses from this war. Now it has gotten so bad to the point that the elders are stepping in to discuss another Peace Treaty. The last attack injured my father really badly so they have given him till tomorrow or send me in his place. And seeing as my father hasn't allowed me out of the territory in the past three years he was definitely not about to let that happen.

"Bless?" My father called my name.

"Yes daddy?"

"Go and pack the elders are requesting that you and Chase Jr. are in attendance tomorrow." Beta Frank looked to me with sympathy in his eyes.

"Yes daddy." Preparing to leave Beta Frank spoke.

"Max go with her." Max nodded his head before following to my room to pack.

"You nervous?"

" No Max I just want this to end. My dad's tired and I'm sure yours is too."

" Yea but you know the council is only going to be talking to the Alpha's right? Their not gonna care about what you've got to say. Or what he's put you through."

"My daddy knows what he's doing." I said finishing the conversation. Being me and Max being him I laid down and let him finish packing up my bag.

"Lazy ass!" He laughed. I chuckled and not long after I was sleep.

When I woke up I was already in the car with my head resting on my daddy's lap. Unfortunately Beta Frank couldn't come. It was bad enough my dad was being forced to leave his territory for this meeting, but on top of that they were having the meeting in Chase's territory.

Seeing Max in the passenger seat I looked to the left to see one of our Enforcers Gabe. He also happened to be one of the top five strongest wolves in the pack. Besides me he was the only other wolf that Max associated with. Which is odd given he was the next in line to be Beta.

Thinking about it I realized that I've probably been sleep close to at least sixteen or seventeen hours straight without waking up. Meaning someone had to carry me to the car. My first thought had been Max because my father was far too sore to carry me. Even though he is very strong he is also very wounded.

The thought of Max holding me in his big strong arms caused a blush to cover my face.

"Is sleeping beauty finally awake?" Max was starring at me through his overhead mirror smirking.

Ignoring his statement I sat up causing my dad to internally flinch from my actions. "I'm sorry dad I meant to be way more gentle then what I actually was."

"It's okay I needed you to wake up soon anyway we just crossed into his territory. So everybody stay on your toes." Looking out the window things looked different. Seeing confusion written all over my face my dad answered my un-asked question.

"Their Luna returned some time ago."

"Where did she go I mean not that her presence made that much of a difference last time." Every time I saw that lady she looked like she didn't give a damn what anybody was doing as long as Chase was paying attention to her.

"You've never met the Luna Blessing." Max looked back at me.

"Yes I have!" I was getting angry that they were playing around.

"No Bless you haven't the Luna of this pack doesn't resign here. I'm assuming you are thinking of his wife. But his wife and the Luna are two different people. Jr's birth mother is Luna. Her and Alpha Chase couldn't come to terms with the fact that they were mates especially since he couldn't keep his hands to himself. She went back to her family who at the time was Alpha Jasper."
