Another tiring morning again. I got ready and went to school. In the morning instead of going to the table I went to the library to finish a project for math. " well I mean we only have this left and I did the work so do you just want to add it in the presentation ?" I said. Greg nodded as he typed away and I saw Brandon leaning against a shelf looking at me. At this point I was annoyed. "Greg so Are you good ?". He thumbs me up so I go up to Brandon. "Why do you always stare yet never talk to me? " I say whispering since we are in the library. " Hailey told me you were up here so I came to tell you about the project ". "Could you have not told me in class?", I ask. Then I notice a bruise on his jaw as soon as I am about to ask he comes close to my neck and I feel him breathe " i just wanted to see where you were". I look up at him " what happened to your jaw". He gets away " nothing don't worry about it". He starts walking away and I grab his hand and he turns to look at me. So I let go " Does it have to do with the guy yesterday with the gun?". He gulps " no I'll see you in class". With that he leaves and I turn around to leave to class. I couldn't help but remember how good it felt to be close to him. I just wanted to go to lunch. In lunch Hailey and I got in line which surprisingly went fast and we sat down. Hailey sees Greg go by and shushes sean, hawk,brandon, ash. They all look at her waiting to say something " that guy right there to the left with the red shirt likes Rowan". They all turn to see him while I look at Hailey " what !no". Sean laughs " ooo Rowan and Greg sitting in a tree k-". I groan "no stop it". They all laugh even Brandon and his laugh was like music to my ears. " so you and Greg is a no no?" Ash asks. I nod. " who do you like then ", Hailey asks. "No one!". " sure Rowan sure ", Hawk says. Hailey smirks at me " actually Rowan likes b-"and I cover her mouth. "Shut up Hailey no I don't ". She just laughs,as so do the others. The bells rings and we leave. On my way home I see Trevors car and he honks while yelling hurtful things. I get home and eat and shower. I'm in on my room sitting on my floor on my phone revising the project that I actually finished. When I hear a knock on my window. I sit there for a little debating what to do. I open the curtain and it's Brandon. I open the window and let him in and close it. " what are you doing here?". He sees me shivering anf puts his jacket on me. I sit back down and so does he. " are you okay?" He asks. " why wouldn't I be ?" I say looking down. " Trevor he's a jerk". I give a small smile " yea he is". "I just dont understand what I did to him". He comes closer " your mom slept with his dad ". I bite my lip " oh". He tells ne " can i tell you something?". I say yes . " my dad was the one to give me the bruise not the guy, he's actually in my gang. I look at him and say "Can I tell you something too?". He nods " I cant even look at my mother or want to see her ". He says " I understand but you should maybe giver her a shot ". I look down. He brings my chin up and puts his hand on my cheek. "Can I tell you something ?". I look in his eyes " yes'. He scoots in and caresses my cheek and kisses me. It was short but it was sweet. I pull away and look at his eyes " I thought you were going to tell me something?". He smiles " I just did". I look at him confused. " why do you always stare at me? ". He chuckles " I want to make sure youre okay wherever your at". He smirks at me " by the way mind telling me who your crush is ?". I giggle " I mean you should know by now. " my phone rings and it's my dad. " Hey dad um yea okay just get me the same thing, okay bye love you". I look at him " my dad is coming home so you should leave. He nods standing up " I'll see you tomorrow morning. I nod and he leaves. What a weird day.
