Chapter 8

"You little bitch." I looked up and gasped.

There stood Brooke. Jordan's best friend. Go she's here too? She walked up to us. "Hey Brooke." Zach said, his eyes had glazed over. "Hi Zachy." She said, flashing him a dazzling smile. "I can't believe you guys believe HER over Jordan." Brooke said, leaning onto the table. "She lied about her aniexty all through high school. She just wanted attention." Brooke said, narrowing her eyes at me. "Ashley? How could you fake something like that?" Corbyn said, he was mad. "I didn't fake it!" I exclaimed. "Oh really? Then explain this." Brooke said, pulling out her phone. She hit the play button and my voice echoed back at me. "OKAY? *crying* I don't have anixety.. Are you happy now?" My voice screamed. I remember that moment. I'd try and forget about it until now. Jonah's face twisted in anger. "HOW COULD YOU LIE TO US? ARE YOU JUST USING US?" He yelled. I whimpered. "Boys, Aspen. Let's go." Brooke said,turning to walk out the door. All the doors got up, following her.

Aspen mouthed to me "I believe you." as she stood up and followed everyone else out the door. August grabbed my hand, Lucy sat there in shock.

Later back at the apartment

"I can't believe she did that!" Lucy yelled, she'd been pacing for the last 20 minutes. Zach wasn't answering her text messages, or calls. 

*DANIELS POV* 

The boys came back super pissed. Ashley and Lucy weren't with them. They didn't tell me what was going on. "Jack?" He just grunted, as he fixed himself a banana and strawberry smoothie. "Where's Ashley and Lucy?" I asked. "They went home." He said, his tone was cold. Brooke, Jordan's bestfriend had came back with them. She and Zach giggled as they ran up the stairs. I decided to text Ashley myself.

*ASHLEY'S POV* 

My phone dinged, I checked a text from Daniel??

danniphantom Ash what happened??

I was about to answer when I got a call from blocked number. I answered. 

ASHLEY : Hello?

ANON: Bitch, say anything to daniel and I will finish you.

*line goes dead*

What was I going to do?? "Ashley, what are you gonna do?" Lucy said, finally sitting on the couch. "I don't know.." I said, biting my lower lip. "What do I say to Daniel??" I asked. August perked up from his spot at my desk. "Ashley, just act like nothing happened again." I nodded

THURSDAY 

We've haven't talked to the boys since. Even the groupchat has been quiet. Aspen texted me once asking how I was, but thats been all. 

I groaned as I made my way to the kitchen. Lucy was already up fixing breakfast. Which she never does. "Lulu?? Whatcha doin??" I asked, moving past her to get a mug out of the cabinet. "Logan asked us to come over today to film a collab." She grinned. I haven't seen her smile since Monday. It's kinda nice to see a glimmer of the old her.
