The Legend of the Steam

Once upon a time, in a place where two elemental beings lived, was attacked by other elemental signs. They made an earthquake throughout the entire village and slaughtered a few of each species. 

After the attack, the wind and water elemental signs decided to split the civilization and become enemies, since nobody can be trusted anymore.

Fire, water, earth and wind were now enemies.

After a long 5 years later, in the water kingdom of Aquatica, the queen gave birth to a baby girl. They named her Mina. 

She was a little shy. She would hide behind her mother's gown when her cousins wanted to have a play date. She never dared to step foot outside. 

But one day, when little princess Mina got a bit older, she looked out of the window and saw the fire kingdom. She have always thought of how the peace treaty didn't work out because of them. 

Her tutors recalled how mean and cruel they were. They killed tons of people and never even gave an apology, nor a sign of peace. They said that they reigned the underground, where the demons lived. 

She flinched as she felt a tap on her right shoulder. 

"Mina-chan, time for piano practice." her piano teacher looked at her and smiled. 

"Ah..hai.." Mina quickly averted her eyes to her teacher and went to the music room downstairs.

Footsteps were heard by the upper household and it was getting louder. The little footsteps belonged to the leader of the fire clan, it was his daughter Chaeyoung. 

"Chaengie~" the father, Mr. Son, caught her in his arms. "How's my little angel?" 

"Hehe, great daddy!" Chaeyoung grinned. She was the daughter of the leader of the mafia clan. The scorching eagles. 

She was a bright little girl, she always lightens up the room when it gets gloomy or sulky. She loves how she makes everyone happy. 

But she has a terrible curse. Everything she touches..burns. She was really sad inside, but it would make others happy if she was happy as well. 

So she decided to just keep her sad feelings in and be happy. 

"Just great daddy.." Chaeyoung giggled and lets go of her father's embrace. "I should go play outside."

"Sure." 

Chaeyoung runs away to the big garden at the back of their house and curled up like a ball. 

"I'm a monster."

8 years later..

"Minaring, have you heard about the rumors from school? Some kids went into the forest and never came out." Sana, her best friend sipped on her straw. "I think it's real. They say that there's a wild pyromaniac there." 

"Where have you heard about this again? I suppose it's from Jeongyeon again." Mina chuckled. 

"I'm telling you Minaring, some of our classmates tried and they never came back, like Jackson." Sana pointed out.
