Chapter 5

Alayah's POV

I was laying on my bed watching tv. It was a normal saturday evening, and usually I'd be out with Algee, Kendyll, and Keith. But since me and Algee were done, I knew I didnt want to be thirdwheeling with Keith and Kendyll.

"Alayah!" my mom yelled. I stood up and walked inside the bathroom where she was. "Yes mama?" I said. "What the hell is this doing in your trash can" She said holding the pregnancy test box up. My stomach dropped and I sighed. "Ma-I-It's-" "Alayah, you better tell me something, and you better tell me something righ now!" I looked at the floor. "Mama, im...pregnant" She threw the box on the sink. "Alayah, how the hell did you let this happen! I have told you over and over again to be careful! I didnt put you on birthcontrol just for fun!" "Mama, im sorry!" "I dont wanna hear it girl!" I teared up. "Ma, I didnt want this to happen neither! I made a mistake"I started crying and she gave me a hug. "Alayah, I understand.. Im just upset because I didnt want you to make this mistake like I did.. I had you at 15, and it was hard. I just dont want you to go through that" "Im scared, I dont know what to do" I said. "Its gonna be okay sweetie, Im here for you.. did you tell Algee about this yet?" "Yes, I did.. but we broke up yesterday, he says he's still gonna help with the baby tho" "Why did you guys break up?" "I dont know ma, he just broke up with me out of nowhere! 3 years gone down the drain! Im hurt, I just dont know what to do mama" She kissed my forehead. "First, we are going to take you to the doctor and see how far along you are. Second, we are going to go babyshopping. Third, we are going to look at some babynames!" She smiled at me. "Are you happy ma" "Yes, I am. God blessed you with this gift Alayah, and dont be sad because Algee is showing his ass.. I raised you by myself, and I'd be damned if I let my daughter mope around because she might be a single teenage mom! If I did it, you can do it! I had my mom on my side, and Im gonna be by yours!" I smiled and gave her a hug. "I love you mama" "I love you too"

(The Next Day)

"Im about to go to work sweetie, I love you" My mom said walking out the house.  We had just got back from my doctor's appointment. Turns out Im 4 months pregnant. "Your prenatals are on the counter, Im working a double tonight, So i wont see you until tomorrow" She gave me a hug and left. I walked in the kitchen and took my prenatals, I walked upstairs to my room and took a nap.

Algee's POV

"So she's pregnant" Elijah said. I nodded. "Damn" Luke said. "Me and her are not together tho, I just need a break" "Yoo, what about the baby" Woody said frowning. "Oh, There aint no discussing that, im gonna be in my child's life" "But why you just end shit with Alayah all of a sudden B ?" Bryshere asked. "I just need a break from that relationship shit, I aint ready for that lockdown , im young man" "G, you got a baby on the way now man.. you rather let your child go from house to house all the time because you still stuck up in your hoeing ass ways?" Keith said. I sat there in silence and started thinking. "I dont know man.. But I dont need yall trying to tell me how to handle this situation" "We just trying to tell you some damn sense G" Luke said. "I dont need yall tryna tell me shit, especially not no niggas who still single and do the same shit I do" "Oh, word?" Elijah said. "Yea word, how bout all of yall get out my crib, and learn how to mind yall damn business" "Aye G you need to chill" Keith said standing up. "Keith, I dont need you to be no peacemaker right now man, how bout you go be all under Kendyll's ass" I walked in my room and slammed the door.

Alayah's POV

"What do yall want?" I said opening the door to see Bryshere, Luke, Woody, and Elijah. "Can we come in Layah" Luke asked. I hesistated, and then opened the door all the way to let them come in. "Algee sent yall over here" I said folding my arms. "Naa, he aint stunt you" Woody said going in my fridge. "Woody!" Elijah said. Bryshere and Luke laughed. "What the fuck do yall want!" I said. "Look, We aint got shit else to do, Keith always with Kendyll, Algee on some bullshit, and hell we all single.. so we decided to come here" I frowned. "Come here for what? Algee got a house, he single just like yall" "We just said Algee on some bullshit, your house was the last choice anyway, we dont wanna be here just as much as you dont want us here" Woody said. I laughed. "Shutup Woody" Bryshere laughed and looked at me. "But how you doing tho Layah, you our sis and we really aint just come here to hang out, we came to check on you" He said. "Im good.. Im taking it better than I expected, and im 4 months" I said smiling rubbing my stomach. Luke and Elijah Smiled. "Thats good, we just making sure you straight, we just wanted to make ya smile. we know G was wrong, hell he tripping on us too" I shook my head. "Fuck him. I have nothing to say to him, if its not about our child, I dont wanna hear a word from him" "we understand.. thats still our brother and you still our sis.. but we just came over to put a smile on your face.. and to eat" Elijah said. I laughed. "food is in the fridge, help yourself out, Imma find us a movie to watch"

I was thankful for them, they were my bro's.

We all sat and watched movies and they fell alseep on the couch. I stood up and went to my room and went to sleep.
