"You feelin' any better?"
Holdin' her in arms, I felt somewhat at peace, knowin' she was safe with me. It was peace and quiet, no arguin', just me with her in presence and that is all I needed right now considerin' the circumstances that everyone is in at the moment.
"A little." She mumbled, feelin' her head on my chest.
I caressed her cheek softly and kissed her on her forehead, seein' her rub her eyes.
"I'm sorry I freaked out on you like that."
"Nah, it was expected."
"It doesn't matter, you were just trying to protect me and I understand that." She sat up off my chest, and layed down on a pillow, while starrin' at me.
"What?"
"I've sort of thought about something."
I raised my eyebrow. "And that somethin' is?"
She let out a small sigh. "Do you actually think me and you can work?"
"You don't think we will?"
"I'm not saying that." She sat up fully. "We both literally have everyone around our necks, and if you think about it, it's all in a short amount of time."
Now that I think about it, she sorta did have a point. Hell, i don't even know if all of this will even end well, but riskin' this shit over one person was worth it, includin' all fa' her at this very moment. Neither one of us want eachother to get hurt, but I mean, I couldn't keep myself away from her fa' whateva' reason, which is somethin' she is completely blind too.
"Do ya' trust me?" I asked her.
"Yeah." She nodded her head.
"Well look, I was kind of hopin' ta' save this announcement for future references, but I guess the time is now." I shrugged. "I bought me and you a house 6 months ago."
Her eyes slowly grew big when I told her and I let a smile tug on my face. I wasn't ashamed of what I did , and I'm hopin' this will maybe let her fully open up to me.
"You did what?"
"I bought us a house."
She rolled her eyes at me but I didn't care what she was thinkin' at the moment. I don't know about her, but I was serious about me and her.
"Why did you do that?" She slid off the bed and walked around it.
