Till Eternity

Hello Everyone! :)  I wanna share this to all of you. When I was in grade 3, I read a story, a heartbreaking one. That was sooooo longggg ago. I don't even remember the title. I also forgot  the characters and the rest of the plot. But I loved it. So I made my own version. It's not exactly the same. (like what I've said, "my own version") Magustuhan nyo sana. :)  xoxo =)))

This is it..

She looked at her reflection in the mirror. Perfect. Her eyes are full of happiness and excitement. This is the most important  day in her life as a woman.

Kylie sighed happily. Today is her wedding day. Reality hit her when she heard someone knocking on her door.

"Yaya Moi.. is that you?" she asked.

"Yes I am hija."

"Come in Ya, the door is not locked."

Yaya Moi, who stepped inside, seemed stunned.

"Kylie! you are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.."

She smiled sweetly."Thanks Ya!"

The telephone suddenly rang.

"I'll pick it up." volunteered Yaya Moi.

"Hello?"

"Oh, it's your brother from US."

She handed the phone to her.

"Kuya!! I miss you.. Yes.. I wish you're here.. I understand.. Of course.. Oh. You forgot? It's Cedrick.. Yeap. Cedrick Martinez..  Why? You know him?... Oh.. I see.. Ok.. Bye.. Take care kuya. I love you... Thanks.. Bye." He hung up.

"Are you alright Kylie?"

"Yes Ya.. Of course. This is my wedding day. I'm supposed to be happy 'cause I'll be marrying the man I love. It's just that..  I'll be happier if my brother is here. After our parents die, he's the one who took care of me. Aside from you. But well, I  understand if he's busy. I haven't seen him for five years. I just miss him so much."

"I know he's happy for you Kylie. Your brother loves you so much. Remember when he became a rebel back when he was in  college?"

She nodded.

Yaya Moi continued, "Then your parents died, that's when he saw the light. He chose the right path and made hyimself a  respectable man. And he took the reponsibility of your parents. You will be a wife few minutes from now. I'm sure he's proud  of you. You will be marrying a good man who deserves your love."

She tried to stop her tears.

"Yes yaya. I know that. If it wasn't for my kuya i wouldn't be who I am right now. I wouldn't be here where I am standing."

She met his groom 3 years ago. She knew him back in college but they got to know each other after they graduated. He courted  her for couple of months and years after.. He proposed marriage.

But sometimes, she feels that he really doesn't love her but he always tell her that she is the only thing that will drive him crazy  when gone. And that, for her, is enough.

He is the best guy.

But sometimes, the worst.

He'll always come late whenever they have a date. And she would wait for hours until he showed up. He has only one excuse.

There was an emergency. And he will say he's sorry and then everything's fine.

His family likes her. Too bad her brother hasn't met Cedrick yet. The same with her, because Cedrick has a brother, but is now  dead.
