- Max's point of view -
"I hope you understand that this is unacceptable behaviour and that it will have consequences" Mrs. Hawkins said as she looked at Michael, Patch and Oliver who sat to her left. After I had told my mom what happened last night, she insisted to call the principal and tell her what happened. I tried to convince her not to say anything, but since she claimed it was "clearly bullying", she obviously didn't listen to what I said. I get her point, it was bullying, but I didn't want to make this thing blow up. God only knows what Michael will do against me now.
"But how can you be so sure we did what they are saying? What if their lying?" Oliver asked frustrated, throwing his hands in the air.
"I doubt that a guy with a huge wound at his eyebrow and a black eye would lie about this, when it looks like neither of you have any injuries at all" she answered as she pulled up her glasses to her forehead.
"I have fucking bruisers at my elbows!" Michael yelled as he showed her his elbows.
"And that was because of the fall when Mr. Garcia tackled you, we have already cleared that out" she calmly responded.
"But shouldn't Brian get punished for what he fucking did? The idiot tackled me out of nowhere!" Michael yelled angrily.
"Mr. Smith, language please" the school counsellor, Mr. Nelson, said.
"As we can see it, the tackle didn't get any bad consequences. What it did do was to stop the punching, which is obviously a good thing. So we don't really see a reason to give Mr. Garcia a punishment" the principal continued.
"Unbelievable!" Michael angrily whispered, but it was still loud enough for all of us to hear it. The principal then pulled down her glasses again as she picked up two papers.
"Oliver, Patch, you'll get away with a warning" Mrs. Hawkins said as the both boys sighed in relief. "These papers are for your warnings. We've signed them and they are now valid. If you get another warning, there's a high risk you will get a worse punishment" she continued as they nodded. She then turned to look at Michael. "Michael, what you did was not, under any circumstances, acceptable and as you might have guessed, you will not get away with a warning. I'm afraid we'll have to suspend you for the two upcoming weeks"
"Fucking bullshit. You're all so full of shit, you know nothing!" Michael angrily yelled as he stood up and through his arms around.
"Mr. Smith, please calm down so we can talk about it like people" Mr. Nelson calmly said but Michael cut him off.
"I don't want to talk to you, you're all idiots!" he yelled and with that, he stormed out of the room.

After the meeting, the school day want on as usual. I had history, PE, English literature and was now on my way to meet up with Brian to go and have lunch. I walked down the almost empty halls towards my locker when I suddenly hear someone calling my name.
"Eyy, Miller" a female voice said. I turned around and saw Katie walking up to me. The sight of her made my heart melt. She was just so beautiful with her blond hair in a high ponytail and a slight smirk.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" She then said with the most angelic voice I've ever heard.
"Um y-yeah, sure" I replied as she signalled me to follow her. We walked through the halls, past the cafeteria, past the principals office and out to the backside of the school.
"Why couldn't we just talk inside?" I asked, but Katie didn't answer. She just continued to walk until we could see the outlines of a person, hiding in the dark alleyway next to a couple of containers. As we came closer I saw who the person was. Michael.
"Looks like we meet again Miller" Michael said with an evil smile. I swallowed hard as I tried to not show any sight of fear. Honestly, I was scared for my life of Michael. I didn't know what he was capable to do, probably everything.
"What do you want?" I coldly asked.
"I want you to shut up about what I've done or what I will do. I've been suspended too many times and if I continue to get suspended I will get repelled!" He angrily said. "So if you tell anyone anything about what I do, I will kill you, do you understand?" he then said threatening. I looked at him with fear in my eyes. I wasn't sure wether he was being serious or not, but I did know that he would be able to literally kill me.
"Do you understand?" He said with a more powerful voice.
"Y-yes" I answered, stuttering a bit because of how scared I was.
"Good" Michael said as he then took Katie's hand and walked off, leaving me alone.
