Her beauty
why does she hide it?
Is it because she's shy? flustered?
Or in denial and trying to hide it
But why hide it
Why not let it show?
Perhaps people have told her otherwise
People she will never know
They call her ugly
They call her gross
So true beauty she won't boast
But why is she ugly?
Is it because of her looks, her hair
Her outfits she wears?
Well we are all different in our choices
But that's no reason to bring her to tears
Is it because of her eyes, her skin
The scars she shows no one
But flowers wilt and their petals get holes
But they're considered beautiful
Each and every one
I call her beautiful everyday
But she roles her eyes and walks away
But why hide the truth?
Why deny what is obvious?
Because a guy told her to
A guy she once filled with fondness
That's not right
That's not ok
He should've been calling her beautiful everyday
All of her blemishes and bumps
All of her freckles and more
Gives her beauty a lot more to adore
The scars on her body
The cuts on her face
Its just more beauty to embrace
Her smile Her laugh
They way she parts her hair
Just ands more to adore
And more beauty to her affair
She's amazing and magnificent
A wonder in my eyes
The beauty she hides
Is her secret pride
Though she will never know
Probably never understand
That who she is
Struck love into a man
She thinks she's ugly
Her bodies not right
But to me I know
I could love her and everything she is
All day and night
I say this here
I say this now
Every woman has beauty so be proud
Love who you are
Never forget
Or you'll spend the rest of your life in regret
Wishing to be what your not
Wishing to be someone else
When all you have to be is yourself
For you have beauty no one can match
Let your beauty show
So you have a happiness no one can match
