Elena's POV

We danced for a while until I suggested that we sit down. We headed over to a table in the corner of the grill, where Caroline and Bonnie couldn't be snoops and ease drop. You could tell Caroline and Bonnie were just dying to know what we were talking about.

Damon and I talked for a while until Bonnie came over, "Hey Elena, I have to go, so are coming or can you find another way home?" "Um, yah, lets go." I was about to get up and leave when I remembered Damon. " Uh, bye, see you later?" I questioned. " Yah, talk to you later." Damon responded.

Me and Bonnie walked towards Caroline, getting ready to ask her if she needed a ride. " Hey Care, you need a ride?" Bonnie asked. " No, I'm good, thanks anyways." She gave me and Bonnie a 'get out of here' look since she was flirting with Matt. Sometimes Caroline doesn't know when to stop trying, I mean, she's been trying to get Matt to go out with her for a week. Matt has turned her down every time, it's like, take a hint! I love Caroline but sometimes she just needs to give up.

Bonnie and I hopped into her car and she started driving. We were going over Wickery Bridge when a person appeared in the headlights. Bonnie swerved, and thankfully, was able to stop the car before we went over. We got out of the car, to make sure the person we saw was alright, and that we didn't hit them. When we got out of the car, the person that we saw was gone.

Me and Bonnie looked at each other, then back at the road. We looked around the area where we saw the person, and there was no one there. There was no sign of anyone ever being there in the first place. Bonnie and I hopped back in the car, confused as ever, and started driving again. The car ride was silent, since we were both trying to figure out what just happened and what exactly we saw.

Stefan's POV

I was standing on Wickery Bridge,  totally zoned out, I wasn't paying attention to anything.  I was to busy thinking about the girl I saved here, and that she looked exactly like Katherine. I was trying to wrap my head around what I saw when I got hit. I looked up and realized that I got hit by a car. So much for vampire hearing, it really helped me out. I noticed that the passenger, was that girl that I saved. The driver, I assume, was one of her friends.

They swerved,  not going over Wickery Bridge,  thank god. I really didn't feel like going for a swim, so it's a good thing they didn't go over. They hopped out of the car, I'm guessing to see if whoever was on the road was ok. I sped into the nearby woods, before they could see me and notice that I was healing rapidly.

I stood there,  in the woods, watching them. They were so confused as to why the didn't find anyone. It was writen all over their faces. They looked around to see if the person got up and started walking away. The driver got a near three feet away from where I was standing. Thankfully, it was dark, so, unless I moved drastically,  she wouldn't see me.

They eventually gave up in search for the missing person, and drove away. Thank god for vampire speed, otherwise they would of seen me. Sometimes, I wonder to myself, why does a horrible curse, come with such cool abilities? I mean the curse part is obviously the blood lust and the fact that you out live everyone you love. The cool abilities though, is super hearing, strength, healing, compulsion, and my personal favorite, speed. I mean, don't get me wrong, I hate being a vampire, but the powers are so cool!

Bonnie's POV

Have I lost it? I could've sworn I saw someone on that road, that's why I swerved. Elena saw the person too, she is just as confused as I am. We didn't have anything to drink, I mean yah, Caroline pretty much drank through the whole bar, but me and Elena didn't come near any alcohol. So that leaves alcohol out of the equation. So either we're both crazy, or we saw someone.

The rest of the car ride to Elena's house was silent. Neither one of us spoke, we were to busy thinking about what just happened, plus, we were still in shock. When we got to Elena's house, we said our goodbyes,  and then I went home. I was eager to get home, that way I could go up to my room, and think some more about what happened tonight.

Elena's POV

The second I got home, Aunt Jenna started throwing questions at me. "Did you have a good time? Did you meet a cute boy? Was that Bonnie who dropped you off? Why do you look so confused and shooken up? What happened?" Jenna asked rather quickly. " Yes, sort of, yes, and me and Bonnie almost went over Wickery Bridge. We saw someone on the bridge, and when we went to check to see if they were alright,  no one was there." I answered patiently.

"What,? Elena, are you ok?" Jenna asked worriedly. "I'm fine Aunt Jenna just a little shaken up a bit." I told her not wanting her to worry. "Good, so what do you mean by sort of?" Ugh, I love Aunt Jenna, but does she always have to play twenty questions? " We had already met, we were just meeting there." "Oh, so what's his name?" There she goes again, with that game of twenty questions. " Damon, Damon Salvatore." I stated.

"Is he cute?" "Very." I answered. If she's going to ask me all of these questions, I might as well be honest, right? " What's he look like?" Jenna asked. " Oh, you know, black hair, blue eyes, the whole nine yards." I said,  trying hard not to bust out laughing at my comment. "How old is he?" Jenna demanded. " I honestly have no idea." I answered nervously.  " so he doesn't go to your school?" "No." Jeez Aunt Jenna what's your next question going to be, is he a mass murderer, for god sakes.

"Hey, listen Aunt Jenna, I'm really tired and I wanna go to bed, so can we finish this game of twenty questions tommarow?" Oh no, did I just say that last part out loud? "Yah, good night Elena." "Good night Aunt Jenna see you in the morning." I basically sprinted up the stairs trying to avoid any last minute questions Jenna might decide to ask me.

I stopped by jeremy's room to say good night but he was already asleep. I floped onto my bed, and almost immediately fell asleep the second I hit my pillow. Man was I tired.

Stefan's POV

I was sitting on the tree outside the girl's window, listening to her steady breathing as she slept. Am I a stalker or what? After what happened on Wickery Bridge, I just had to make sure she got home safely. I find myself questioning why I had to make sure she got home safely, and I think it's because she looks like Katherine. I promised myself, that I would find out why she looks so much like Katherine, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Tommarow I'll start digging.
